This was the first hotel we stayed at in Belize that actually has a bathtub! Yay! Rooms were large and the windows were so clean I thought they were open, apparently a bird did too because he accidentally flew into one of them!

This was such a great stay! The hosts were so nice and accommodating. You can hear the sounds of the jungle in the property and the river is a walk away and fun to jump in. I worked remotely for two days from the bar area outside - Wi-Fi was very very reliable and decently quick too. I had no problem taking calls with videos.

Marcela will go out of your way to help you and accommodate you. She helped me with a flat tire by getting someone down to pump air into it, and drove to get dinner for me in town.

Stayed for 6 nights total: 2 in San Ignacio, 1 at Rainforest Inn on Butterfly Highway, and 3 at the beach in Hopkins. The Rainforest was awesome and we did some cave exploring on tours. My husband and I enjoyed the cave tube float and our friends loved the ATM cave. Of course there are a number of Mayan ruins to explore without having to cross into Guatemala. Belize is a small country but from the Cays to Belmopan city and beach areas the culture is varied. The Garifuna culture around Hopkins is quite interesting and different from San Ignacio, which is more Mayan.

I specifically went to see the Thirsty Jagwar (yummy fruit wines) booth at the Day & Night Market at Mae Gordon Park in Belmopan. It was a rainy day and the grounds were a bit wet and muddy, but there was a good variety of friendly vendors, so it was fun to shop around. They also had a good DJ and live music so it was entertaining as well. There was also a good variety of food vendors to choose from.
The highlight of my visit was my stay at the Kiki Witz Resort. It was only 5 minutes drive outside Belmopan. Easy to find right off the highway just past the ArtBox store, but GPS was off. I had the cutest little Glamping Cabin in the woods! I will definetly come back, stay there and do little excursions out from there.

It's centrally located so you can get anywhere in the country. However, they need a better road system. You need to have a four wheel drive vehicle to be able to move around the country. For that reason it takes longer to get somewhere than it should.
Such a nice place to visit! It’s a sustainable Hotel with a high standard! The family who runs it, is so friendly and nice!
Best pancakes allover Belize and best spot to see red-eyed tree frog!
The property has its own jungle walk, a yoga room, a garden with flowers and hummingbirds, and a pond…
We stayed in a room with toilets outside and with a shared kitchen and dining. Everything was clean and nicely decorated. For the price one of the best places in Belize!
You’re in the jungle, don’t forget bug spray ;)
The location in the rainforest ist wonderful and we especially enjoyed the free bicycles and the hiking trails on the hotel grounds. It's a great place for bird watching! We stayed at a Creekside Cottage which was beautiful, especially the patio and the outdoor bathbub are great. A great plus is that you are provided with free drinking water. Special thanks to the waiting staff at Don Tonito's, they were so nice and we felt very welcome there!
We faced a few difficulties with communication because we were out of data in Belize and arrived very late to the resort. Still, we were greeted warmly and the lodge was fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed it!
Nice bed, water, a small kitchen with the necessary appliances, and what was best, slightly secluded and surrounded by nature, so it was really nice for a long-awaited rest.
The restaurant was nice, breakfast was good.
Fantastic experience.Every single staff member was attentive, professional, friendly and helpful. Grounds are immaculate. There’s so much to do here you wouldn’t even need to plan adventure beyond but it’s a great starting point for exploration of Belize.
