A great place to stay to enjoy nature, a very laid back relaxing region. Friendly people, good hikes. It is a place that almost forces you to relax. When you are in a hurry or have a tight schedule you will miss out on a lot! There are hikes for all ages and fysical conditions, from very short to very long, including “ overnight”hikes

Bella Coola is all about enjoying outdoor avtivities in the stunning Bella Coola valley and Tweedsmuir NP - trekking, wildlife viewing etc. The town itself is small with limited attractions otherwise. The Brockton Bistro at the Bella Coola Mountain Lodge was superb for an evening meal (booking advised). Grizzly bear viewing by drifting downriver on a raft (Kynoch Adventures) was sublime.
