I had initially booked to stay in Lunenburg, but canceled to stay here, and I'm so glad I did. This is a gorgeous little spot. We were warmly greeted by Marc on our arrival and given a tour of the property. Our room was beautifully decorated and spacious and had a well-equipped kitchenette (complete with microwave popcorn...nice touch!) We all enjoyed playing with the dogs and sitting out on the dock with a drink - my son and I even took a dip in the LaHave. We would definitely come back if in the area.

Enjoyed muffins and oranges. The property was clean, spacious and decorated well. It was in countryside surrounded by trees and nature. Plenty of room to entertain anyone who wanted to visit. Lovely area for walking.

The receptionist Joanna was very welcoming and just a joy to chat with.The hotel was clean and the room was very comfortable . I would recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking for a very friendly environment and comfortable place to stay. I give a 10 out of 10 and will stay there anytime we are in the area. We had a lovely stay at the Alicion. Joe and Chris are wonderful hosts and you feel their pleasure and pride in their work. Lunenburg is a great place for an overnight stop, we also enjoyed walking through the neighbourhood to get to the waterfront, where all the restaurants are located.
