Canmore is a great little town right in the heart of the rockies. It is very close to Banff, without the cost of staying right in Banff. It is close to many outdoor activities for both summer and winter. Both Lake Louise and Sunshine Village ski resorts are within an hour. There are lots of hiking opportunities with some even starting in town. We have enjoyed many of the local restaurants, and there is a lot of variety to please any palate. While it can sometimes get busy, it is easy to get around and easily walkable for most people.

It is a lovely town with world-class views of the rocky almost on your doorstep on both sides. It's not as busy or touristy as Banff and it has some wonderful shops. It has two supermarkets both offering a massive choice of goods, and plenty of restaurants. There is the Nordic Centre which is brilliant for hiking in summer and cross-country trails in winter. I could easily live there. The only downside is that it is expensive, as is Canada in general.

I'm not sure what there is to do in Canmore, been there may times and never once done anything worth remembering. I've heard there are caves and great hiking trails. Unfortunately nothing is well marked and haven't stumbled across them yet.

Canmore is a great historic town with its own main street. Many great places to shop or eat. Special mentionings: coffee, eclipse coffee roasters and special of the day, The Canmore Hotel Hostel. Also many nice shops for souvenirs or other Many nice trials and great views to the mountains. Do not forget to visit the Canmore Engine Bridge or one of the museums.

It is always such welcoming town, we love how the restaurants try to support local as much as possible, and we absolutely love the locals there and talking with them and finding fun facts out from them about the town and the hidden gems for hikes and things to do

Close enough to Banff that spending the day in Banff is an option. When Banff feels too busy and congested. Canmore is a great escape. The locals are engaging and helpful. Canmore is a town I frequent as I live in Calgary but every once in a while I spend the night in Canmore as a little escape. The MTN House is a great clean modern spot to stay. It provides a great view of the mountains as well as the town lights at night. Loved it

The condo had lots of room. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and cookware to make any of our meals. There is a bbq right on the patio that we made use of. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. The beds were the most comfortable I have ever had in a condo/hotel. Check in/check out was fast and easy with very courteous staff. The outdoor heated pool and hot tub were a unique experience in the winter.

From the moment we arrived the venue has been outstanding ! This family business gives attention to the detail and will make your stay such a pleasure. We stayed at 10 locations on our visit to Canada and this stay was by far the best. we couldn’t have asked for more, from Daniel the chef and his partner, to Caroline making our stay so memorable. Thank you Creekside Villa!

Nice apartment for a big family. 2 separate bedrooms (a small one without a window). 2 bath + tube (we don't use it). Full kitchen and laundry. I liked that the dishwasher and laundry had starters for cleaning and washing. Price Owerall is high, but it's for all Banff/Canmore. 400 CAD - it was the cheapest that I could find for my family with 2 bedrooms

My husband uses a walker and the condo was easy to navigate. The shower was wonderful, it has a rain shower head with body jets. The condo was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had all the appliances and cooking utensils needed. The condo is located for easy access to downtown Canmore or the highway to Banff, with an abundance of walking trails.

This was a great hotel with fantastic location right near the shopping area. The train can sometimes be an issue for noise in Canmore hotels but it didn't seem to bother us at night. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. The air conditioning was great when we wanted it.

Clean, modern , easy to find and access . Everything that was needed was already in the suite, from kitchen items, to laundry machine, to BBQ,a home away from home, but like a modern hotel living . Plus underground parking. And beautiful paths to bike or walk to downtown Canmore. Strongly recommend, loved our stay there.

This was the second time I've stayed at the Chateau Canmore. Rooms are great, comfy beds, reasonable rate, and quiet. The parking is not ideal, however it is convenient for those with smaller vehicles. Recently updated rooms at a an affordable rate give the hotel a 4star feel for the traveler on a budget.

We’ve lived here over 13 years and never heard of WorldMark in Canmore. We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel, it was clean, the rooms were a great size, the price was good too. The pool and hot tub were an added bonus. Staff were very friendly and polite. We’ll be back for sure!

This was our second stay at this property and once again it proved to be a great budget friendly choice for the Banff/Canmore area. Staff was quick to assist when there was an issue with our chalet’s heat, offering alternative heat sources if the furnace could not be fixed.

It was the cheapest hotel we could find in Canmore, standard motel rooms but clean and comfy. Our kids enjoyed the playground and hot tub, which we had to ourselves both times we used it. There's even a great view of the mountains from our window in the morning.

It had pretty standard hotel amenities: shampoo and stuff, tv etc. It was cheap. Bed wasn't bad. It is an older motel, but they're clearly taking steps to update it (new carpets and stuff).
