The scenery is amazing anywhere you go the wildlife like elk that walk in front of you to cross the road. It is very expensive to buy anything. It is easy to get around Canmore but be patient in traffic can be slow.

Canmore is a great spot for people who love the mountains.
Canmore is a great spot for people who love the mountains. There are numerous trails within 2 hours drive. It would take weeks to visit them all. Views are spectacular from anywhere. Downtown is cute and it is possible to walk to many amenities from most town accommodations. Restaurants and coffee shops abound.

Canmore is a nice, lower-priced alternative to overpriced, overrun Banff and Lake Louise up the road. While it's a cookie-cutter mountain resort town, it's not as crowded and offers access to the spectacular Kananaskis Country, where, unlike the national parks, you can still find trails you'll only be sharing with wildlife.

Canmore is an affordable place to stay to explore Banff national park. Easy 1 hour drive from Calgary airport and a quick 20 min drive to banff town. Canmore has everything you need: grocery stores, starbucks, restaurants, views, etc.
The apartment was large, clean, modern and well equipped. It had 3 flat screen TV’s, a full kitchen and a washing machine and dryer which was great for us to catch up with washing after 2 weeks traveling around western Canada.
Canmore is a nice town, close to Banff but considerably less expensive. I recommend staying here. It also has an excellent supermarket, ‘Save on Foods’
This is a fabulous hotel and is kept spotlessly clean. The scenery is stunning. Both sides of the hotel have a little river running and the mountains are just wonderful that surrounds the hotel. Just a five minute walk and you are right into the heart of Canmore, which is a very quaint little town. The people everywhere are just lovely. Highly recommend this to anyone.
Location was great only a short drive to Banff or Canmore.
Secluded which meant it was quiet but still close to the trans Canada highway
Host was very helpful and staff there went above and beyond to help
