I recently stayed at a hostel and had a great experience. The place was nice, and the owner was friendly. It provided a great opportunity to meet new people and exchange experiences or ideas on places to visit. The accommodation offered Wi-Fi and showers. I highly recommend it to others!

Everything about it. Wish we could have stayed longer. Perfect location, just in the middle of nature. And the staff, special mention to Isabel and Camila, were extremely welcoming.

I would sincerely appreciate the customer service and manager. We had opted for superior room. But Booking.com does not mentioned which type of room we had selected. We were three adult and it was very difficult to accommodate in one room. The management was very co operative and they allocated additional room. I really extremely thank full to Storm Mountain Resort.

We loved it. Away from it all and really cosy log cabins on the middle of nowhere. Fire pits by the creek and a fire in the room. Perfect !

Exclusivity of the lodges, especially in the evening and early morning. Having such an incredible area, mostly to yourself for those time periods is epic!

Castle Junction is a wonderful location for exploring Banff, Lake Louise and the northern Icefields. The location is central, the road in and out provides some wildlife sightings, and the canyon hike is nice.

You will love the location, ease of travel and the small little log cabins! The Wifi was terrible, the trains loud and the bed was not as comfortable as I hoped! But...it is a magical stay in a beautiful area!!

What can I say except for WOW!

What can I say except for WOW! My husband and I were there in Sept/Oct and everywhere we turned was another magnificent view of a mountain, glacier, canyon, lake. We rented bikes and rode to Vermillion Lakes and beyond. We hiked up Johnston Canyon, we took easy and more challenging walks, and met people from around the world. We flew into Calgary, drove to Banff, then to Castle Junction and stayed in two places I would recommend - Johnston Canyon Lodge and Bungaloos and Castle Mountain Chalets. We had a great trip!

A wonderful spot for a family get-together.

A wonderful spot for a family get-together. We had 6 cabins, close to each other, very clean and big enough to be very comfortable. Kitchens had everything one could think of to prepare our meals. Lots of open space for children to run free and play safely without any worry about traffic. The Johnson Canyon hike just down the road is amazing but it is likely best not to plan to do it on a long weekend in the summer as crowded.

I can't say enough about the amazing staff!

I can't say enough about the amazing staff! Friendly, accommodating, and understanding. I went for the long weekend with my family that included my 2 year old granddaughter. We arrived a little early & though we were prepared to wait till check in time, we were told our unit was cleaned and we could get in right away. Since I had called ahead regarding sleeping options for the 2 year old, a playpen was there on arrival. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of firewood left as well, as seeing more on the porch the next day. The only slight disappointment was finding out the hot tub was removed during covid. Other than that, it was an amazing, extremely comfortable stay.

Overall stay in this area is great than staying in the chain...

Overall stay in this area is great than staying in the chain hotel for the purpose of enjoying the real Banff park style. This cabin area is convenient in driving to Lake Louise and Banff town. I wished my reservation on single cabin was granted as a dream came true, but when we checked in, the clerk handed us a second floor apartment room key. I questioned why not single cabin, but it is what it is. The apartment building was nice , but just not what I have been dreamed when I made the reservation.

We chose this property because we needed to be at the Stanley Glacier Trailhead at 7:30 a.m. and this was the closest place we could stay. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn't open for breakfast before we had to leave, but they had a refrigerator and we were able to get yogurt and granola at a grocery store in Banff that we could eat in the morning. Johnston Canyon is a very crowded tourist attraction--we walked there in late afternoon before eating dinner and the bridge at the lower falls was still very full of people.

We stayed in a one bedroom bungalow with our dog. This is our second time staying at Johnston Canyon Lodge & Bungalows and we liked the spaciousness of the one bedroom bungalow even more than the studio that we stayed in before. The space was nice and the bathroom was large. We also liked the immediate access to the outside for our dog which is something we wouldn't have gotten if we had stayed at a traditional hotel.

The views and location were great. It was an easy drive to go skiing to either Lake Louise or Sunshine. The cookware in the kitchen is top quality. The kitchen is well equipped. The wood burning fireplace was so lovely. The king bed and quality sheets and pillows made for a great sleep. We loved the jacuzzi soaker tub as well.

very cozy cabin to stay in with all the necessities to have an enjoyable stay. very nice touch of providing fire wood and a little starter kindling kit to get it going. very nice to have pet friendly options as not many hotels allow dogs in the area.
