The location is superb - all the breakfasts and dinners with the view over the ocean and its sounds - is just so relaxing. This is definitely a very picturesque location. Grocery was just about 5-7min of drive, which had all the basic stuff you'd need. And also 0 light pollution, so you can see Milky Way with your own eyes. And if you have a good camera on your phone, or a nice digital camera - it gets even better. Sunrises there are also leveled up.

It was impeccably clean, bright and cheery with beautiful views. We enjoyed the serenity and being able to have the ocean view. The property garden is meticulously maintained, and it was pleasant to spend some time there. We highly recommend it.

Ingonish is a beautiful little community.

Ingonish is a beautiful little community. Although we were there during the off season, most things were closed. But we came prepared and had no issues with anything. Lots of amazing hiking trails nearby with breathtaking views if you’re willing to put some effort into a climb.

loved the area, a little dissappointed in the places to eat...

loved the area, a little dissappointed in the places to eat and the fact that there was no night life or places with good music, we were there on Friday and Saturday which I thought would have had some fun things in the evening but if there was no one we talked to knew about it. A good area to start out on some interesting day trips.

Ingonish offered terrific views of the Cabot Trail coastline...

Ingonish offered terrific views of the Cabot Trail coastline, more than one excellent beach and none of them were crowded, even on the holiday long weekend. Restaurant choices were limited and grocery store seemed to be out of stock on a number of items we needed. Proximity to the Highlands Golf course is a plus. Looks like an excellent track we will have time to play on our next visit. The COASTAL restuarant and bar was a perfect family style dinner stop.

Everyone in this small town was friendly.

Everyone in this small town was friendly. Purchased some groceries in the small supermarket, had coffee and dessert at Main Street Restaurant. Would have liked to lunch there. Menu looked amazing. Got our lobsters at the wharf on Wharf Street.

Lovely place. Scenery great.

Lovely place. Scenery great. Food at Main Street Restaurant was very good, deserts were extremely good but expensive. Cape Smokey Gondola was very interesting with great view from the top. The Gondola was a little expensive for someone who only went up and down after seeing the view. There were some trails but didn't seem to be well marked.

I enjoyed the trails in Ingonish including Middle Head trail...

I enjoyed the trails in Ingonish including Middle Head trail with magnificent views and Freshwater Lake Trail which passed through the woods around the lake, by the beach and pickleball courts. I spotted a bald eagle in a tree on this walk and my day was complete!

Everything. The location was perfect. Cabins were clean and comfortable. From check-in to check out, we were treated with kindness and respect. Any issues were quickly addressed by the caretakers. Tony and his family showed what Cape Breton hospitality is renowned for. I would stay here again and recommend Sea Breeze Cottages and Ingonish for a wonderful vacation!

Comfortable bed, nice front porch, big bathroom. Airco. There’s no cutlery or plates provided but when we asked they kindly lent us some. Short walk to a supermarket and a restaurant across the road. Good option to stay while in Ingonish. Few minutes drive to the park entrance.
