Located in the Purcell Mountains next to North Star Hill, this ski-to-door all-suite hotel offers a heated outdoor pool. Suites feature full kitchens and extensive views. I love the conveniences the property has to offer. The room has all one would need for a short term or longer stay. It’s got a lovely view up here and it’s also not far from town. You definitely don’t have to be a skier to appreciate this place!

Newly renovated, the lobby and the rooms! Warm touches made me forget I was in a hotel, had everything we wanted and more. Wonderful value for money.
Located 16 miles from St. Mary Lake, Kimberley Downtown Accommodation provides accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking. The accommodation was unusual and really surprising. Very clean, light, airy and lots of space in the bedroom and in the communal lounge and dining area. Very quiet. There were plenty of beverages on offer and the breakfast offered was substantial.

It was great to be in the town I grew up in (my family moved shortly after I left home when I finished school). It is great to see the improvements since I left, makes me think of moving back. All of the town was walking distance from our accommodation, several small beer places, food services and enjoyable walks (all the servers for food and beer etc were very friendly. And live deer everywhere!! I was walking one morning and almost bumped into one, it still didn't take a step, just looked at me. Later another was so still I would have thought it was a statue. It is easy to get around walking, and when driving there are often two or more ways to get anywhere. I hope the road repairs have been completed next time I'm back.
wonderful place to visit in any season! Walking around downtown and the Platzl was great. Only disappointment was most places closed Monday and Tuesdays. I do understand they need time off too but still disappointing.
Nice little town with pleasant views and good people. Downtown from our hotel was 3mins drive. The falls are a must see and the golf club is a pleasant place to enjoy a drink but the service was not so great and prices were a bit steep. We enjoyed rock climbing, a visit to the ice cream shop and the falls. The Wasa Lake Provincial Park was a nice day trip for us.
This is a lovely town with great recreational options. We biked part way to Cranbrook on the North Star Trail. The downtown is nice for dining and shopping. There are a ton of golf courses. The people working in the hotel and restaurants were very friendly. Great experience!!
Kimberley is a beautiful place. The centre is lively and has lovely shops. Since it was a week before Christmas the downtown was magical....with the whole centre lit up and of course lights everywhere.
The Creme Shop on Spokane St has good paninis, homemade soup and of course a nice selection of cheese. Make sure you hit Spokane Street as only pedestrians allowed and there is a variety of restaurants and shops to see. Area has tons of walking/biking trails, head to St- Mary lake as picturesque and can SUP, kayak, canoe etc. Golfing is in town. Close drive to Fernie & Cranbrook as well.
This place is amazing!! We booked this place as budget travellers and being one of the cheaper options we are used to, we didn't have overly high hopes but this place well and truly exceeded our expectations. All the small details like soft and fluffy pillows, extra pillows, QUALITY towels and toilet paper, and all tastefully decorated made the stay just that little bit more special. All the things at home you take for granted are here at a really reasonable price. 10/10 Definitely recommend!
Complications with the app and so owner was annoyed that l did not have the email. The property was hard to find and the covid regulations also meant a lot of details beforehand, again with no help from the technology used for such this. Disappointing stay as a visitor to Canada and a first time visitor to Kimberley! Ray, husband, was kind, welcoming and friendly.
our stay at Alpenglow exceeded our expectations. Our hosts were warm and friendly, our breakfasts were delicious and our room very comfortable, clean and private. The location was quiet and convenient for walking into downtown Kimberley or driving to the nearby golf courses. We highly recommend this place to stay. A huge thank you to our hostess and host.
The Larix is a modern, stylish hotel in a historic building, just a two block walk from the heart of Kimberley’s attractive, pedestrian friendly downtown. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The common rooms were marvellous - full of art, great books and nice sofas and chairs. Would have liked to stay longer.
very comfortable set up. kitchen and living room with great TV and Internet. the newly renovated bathroom was beautiful and sparkling clean the kitchen was VERY well equipped. I slept on the hideabed in the living room very comfortable. quiet as this is up by the ski hill about a 7 minute drive from downtown
Very friendly and helpful hosts! Baking as a welcome gift and some WD-40 when my tailgate lock siezed up! Very close to Kimberley. Tasty coffee in the office. Would stay there again.
We had booked a room with a bed only, the hotel upgraded us to a suite with a kitchen. Which was wonderful. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good protocol in place for Covid
Close to downtown, bike paths, 100 metres to SaveOn grocery story. Clean, comfy. Air conditioning.
It had a full kitchen and laundry right in our room. Close to town and what we were doing.
