The scenery was beautiful and picturesque in the winter! The roads were well maintained. There's a decent grocery store and liqueur store close to each other. The one mile restaurant was good for burgers and comfort food, I wasn't crazy about the poutine though... it was VERY busy though so be prepared for a bit of a wait in high season. I also seen a Chinese food restaurant and a sushi place. And I think a bar and grill looking place. There was an easy bus that goes back and forth from Pemberton to Whistler, Greyhound and an other line as well so that was convenient! I would definitely like to come back in the Summer time!
The staff that booked us was very cold and rude. There was no communication about a private event that took over most of the outside facilities and left us unable to use the outside seating and BBQ. For the cost of over 300$ I had to sleep on a couch as the pull out bed that was inside the couch was very uncomfortable and no rooms with two beds. Most of all it was the staff that seemed to be rude to us LGBTQ2S* folk.
Lots of country atmosphere here. We really liked this town and its environs -- a lovely agricultural valley among the mountains. We were lucky to be there on Friday which is farmers market day, complete with wonderful baked goods and country music. Plenty to do. We hiked in Joffree Lakes Park -- absolutely stunning glaciers, glacial lakes, waterfalls -- a bit strenuous, though. We also took a drive in farm country and went to the local organic farm before heading back down to sea level.
Pemberton is close to Whistler and can be used as a destination for cheaper accommodation options when staying at Whistler is over your budget. You can also visit Pemberton as an extended trip of your visit to Whistler. The famous Joffre lakes, the provincial park is only 25 minute dive away from Pemberton. The stunning beauty of Joffre lakes is something you don't want to miss when you visit Pemberton as part of your back country destinations in BC. You do need at least 5 hours just to see all three Joffre lakes with a day hike. On a hot day, bring lots of water and some snack. The hike from the first lake to the upper lakes can be challenging but it is all worth it.

It is an older facility, but well maintained and immaculately clean. The staff was friendly. The rooms are small, but the beds were very comfortable. The room rate is very inexpensive and was good value compared to Whistler at Christmas time. We also liked the ambience of Pemberton. 30 minute drive to Whistler but avoided all the Whistler glitz and pretension.

The manager of the property Myson Effa really understands the concept of hospitality. He is extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the Pemberton area. We found our room very clean and remarkably quiet. The beds were very comfortable. The restaurant in the same complex was excellent with a great choice of healthy foods.

staff very friendly. not a lot of options in pemberton so the motel does not need to be great and people would still book it. However it was spotlessly clean.
