Overall there was very little to disappoint about this brand new hotel. Facilities were very nice, rooms spacious, beds extremely comfortable and a decent size mini fridge with actual freezer compartment for ice paks.

This place is amazing and has so much history ! We absolutely loved this place! The stair case in this hotel is beautiful , the wood work and character in this place is perfect. If you live old buildings with lots of history , you will love this place as much as we did . We will be back one day. And Charlie is such a great guy and very informative, thank you Charlie .

Loved this place and can’t wait to go back! The bath tub made this cabin in the woods luxurious - was a relaxing treat we didn’t expect. Host are absolutely lovely as was the welcome from the property guards 🐾

Very quiet and restful. We had the little cottage to ourselves, surrounded by natural wild gardens. Chickens, geese and rabbits on the property (no roosters). The hostess are very nice. The wife is a painter and the husband is a glass artist. The walls of the cottage are decorated with their wonderful art. Away from the town of Powell River, but close enough for convenience.

Everything about this beautiful cozy retreat was even better than described and pictured on the website. Have never stayed anywhere so perfect. The studio Is so well organized and thought out that it seemed much bigger than it was. Paula and Marius have thought of everything you might need and then some. The best part of our day was coming back to this gorgeous place to sit on the balcony, drink some wine and watch the ocean. We were able to make some great meals with the grill as well. Don’t hesitate to book this gem!!
