The hotel is in a great location surrounded by trees. Less people during the week so it was quiet. Surrounded by Mother Nature and the mountains was the BEST!

Great location not far from the highway, plenty of restaurants nearby. Stayed here for Canadian F1 Grand Prix as to avoid the high Montreal prices for Grand Prix weekend. We commuted 35 minutes to Metro Station Montmorency which had plenty of parking. Free parking outside & super cheap all day parking inside. We took the metro to the track from there. All the staff at hotel were super nice & helpful. We’ll being staying there next year for the race.

The full kitchen (fridge, stove/oven, microwave, etc.) was a big plus for us (one of us wasn't feeling well and dinner reservations needed to be canceled). Very spacious and clean and nice TV. Proximity to rail trail for skiing, biking and walking was great. Overall a nicely layed out space.

Val David is a wonderful town on the way to Mt Tremblant from Montreal. MacTaverne is centrally located across from the North River and adjacent to the Petit Train du Nord bike trail. The rooms are simple and clean, the water pressure and hot water is ample and the included breakfast and coffee were delicious. I recommend the restaurant for dinner as well. It was our first night in the region and the owners were generous with information and made us feel like we were staying with friends.

The rooms are far from the main building: not ideal in the evening, especially with young children. Bring your own food for the children, as there are no lunch or snacks provided. The lighting in the rooms is dim. The staff are very attentive and knowledgeable about the property and its attractions. We loved the welcome we received on our first day. Dinner was absolutely perfect.

A truly wonderful stay!

A truly wonderful stay! Incredible location, beach, kayaking, tennis, mini-golf, and other activities—WOW!—and lovely staff. One small drawback: you have to book restaurants in advance, otherwise there's no room!! For lunch and dinner! Dinner is served poolside BBQ!

We loved everything about it.

We loved everything about it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was magnificent, the staff kind and helpful, the room spacious and with plenty of storage. The food was excellent. The only downside: quite a bit of seaweed at the beginning of the small beach. We give this Auberge a 10.
