Staying at the Homestead, was great because there was a subway across the street & with the pandemic on, there are not many places to eat safely. Arriving at 6 p.m. I did not have a chance to drive into Vanderhoof and check it out. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. Sure was hoping there would be an E charger for my car.

Vanderhoof is a great place to stay halfway between prince rupert and the rockies. We found it pleasant and quiet and the locals very friendky and welcoming. We had dinner in the Cosy Pizza Corner in Burrarby street, great pizzas and really friendly service. Unfortunately having stayed only one night we didn't get a chance to explore the area, but we liked the vibe and next time I'll add a couple of nights.

We were in Vanderhoof for a volleyball tournament. Everything was within walking distance. The Daily Perk was a fantastic cafe with surprisingly good food and excellent coffee and espresso! The locals were very friendly.
