The village in Whistler was great. Lots of shops and restaurants. Is lots of open space and there was a big bike weekend on when l was there. Bands play in the village while you sit and have a few drinks. The gondola to go up to Whistler Mountain leaves from the village.
Whistler is an outdoor activity resort town, focusing on mountain sports such as skiing, snowboarding and hiking. It’s in an incredibly beautiful location. The ‘Village Stroll’ takes you on a pleasant, meandering walk past hotels, restaurants and commercial outlets. Whistler has been developed for sports, pleasure and relaxation and meets and at times, exceeds expectations.
A very pretty Village, that was compact and easy to get around. Fairly lights made it absolutely magical - a true winter wonderland! Very close to Backcomb and Whistler Mountains, and the Peak to Peak Gondola ride was spectacular - breathtaking views or the Rockies, Village and surrounds. The Tube Park was a lot of fun for young (9 years) and old (61 Years)! Restaurants were wonderful.
Mountain is amazing but the place is obviously extremely commercialised and it dampens the atmosphere somewhat. It's very transactional compared to other ski resorts across Canada, that said, this does make it more organised and efficient. Did feel like a walking wallet but that's to be expected at world-famous spots!
Loved staying at the upper village for the bulk of our stay - the new Blackcomb gondola is AMAZING and much, much faster than the Whistler Village Gondola. Being able to be at the top of the gondola by 8.30am is incredible. We were lucky with really good snow conditions also. Cultural centre is incredible - and it is disappointing that the indigenous peoples of the region are not given more prominence. If you are spending time in whistler (and no doubt spending LOTS of $$$) then please visit the Squamish Lil'wat cultural centre and support them by buying lots of stuff there. Remember and respect the original owners of the land and beautiful natural resources that you are getting the benefits of!!! Highly recommend the zip-line, which we did when it was snowing and it was spectacular. For families, the upper village is perfect in my view. Much prefer to Whistler Village.
Whistler is the custet most charming little winter spot. Not sure how the city is in summer but me and my partner absolutely loved spending a few winter days in Whistler. Whish there was more night life for people other than 18-22 years old.

We stayed in the sister hotel to executive suits, which was situated right on village stroll, the heart of Whistler village. We were informed that we were staying in the sister hotel upon check, in which the staff were informative of where to go to find it. Our room was great! Comfortable and clean. The wifi kept dropping in and out, which once we informed staff they sent someone right away to resolve it. Despite being closely located to the hustle and bustle of the town including the bars, our room was very quiet. Enjoyed our stay here a lot!

Nice hotel right in the heart of Whistler. Rooms are spacious and clean, for our family of 3 we booked a room with 2 double beds which were a bit smaller compared to all other hotels within out Canada trip. Hotel is nice but knowing we booked a Hilton we expected a bit more for the price. Room is ok but has a 90s charm. Don't get me wrong, overall a great hotel its only the expectations you have when you check in at a Hilton and see the price at the invoice.

Rooms large and benefiting from a separate daytime area, well equipped with all necessities, fireplace, tv kitchen. Excellent location in the center of the village, while the facility of having the ski stored in Pan Pacific slope side is excellent. It was a short stay, so we had not had the opportunity to use all facilities offered by the hotel. The consideration for catering for our baby grandson in all respects was impressive.

First off the building and rooms are fantastic, very beautiful. The hotel is literally right next to nita lake and they offer complimentary canoes and mountain bikes. The staff are very cheerful and helpful. As soon as we arrived we booked an extra night because we liked it so much. Its about a 5-10 minute drive to whistler village and they offer a shuttle to the tourist centre at the village.

Sunday Buffet was extraordinary as were their Concierge Services. The staff was also wonderful and very helpful in recommending and reserving activities and dining outside of the hotel. It was our Anniversary and we were treated to a very nice plate of chocolates as we entered our room. Our experience was that the Fairmont Chateau Whistler is the best there is.. and then some.

The host was excellent in communications (its a house share really rather than a hotel as you rent a private section of the house). The location is amazing, free parking, very peaceful, twenty mins walk from whistler village or around five mins driveand lots of hikes nearby. The flat itself is lovely, really spacious, hot water, good heating and good storage space.

The proximity to entrances to both blackcomb and whistler was ideal. The hotel was able to secure us ski rentals and a reduced rate which was very helpful. Friendly staff as well. We stayed during an unseasonably cold stretch and a pipe in the hotel broke and the staff did a great job evacuating everyone and quickly getting us back inside.

This room #130 is a rare find. It was in a quaint lodge at the center of the upper village so conveniently located across the well appointed Village Market. It’s appropriately decorated to create the ambiance of a lodge versus a modern hotel. It’s complete with everything you will ever need for a family of four. We loved it.

The Service was incredible, nothing was a problem and every request was actioned immediately. Considering the village and hotel were in peak season, the staff, especially Conceirge, made our first time to Whistler truly memorable.
