Whistler is one of my most favourite places in the world. Great atmosphere, and plenty to do whether it is skiing, snowboarding, walking or cycling. People are so friendly and helpful. Has a great vibe.
What hasn't already been said about Whistler..... awesome village, awesome skiing. Has got a bit expensive in recent years but it's still fantastic. Stayed in the Crystal Lodge - fantastic place, fantastic location.
There is so much to do in Whistler. We came up to ski, but the conditions were icy on top and slushy on the bottom. It was an out of the ordinary lame season, but we still had so much fun. We went snowmobiling, and we saw some waterfalls, went to the Scandinavia spa, ate ridiculously fresh sushi in addition to skiing. Sushi Village was sooo fresh and reasonably priced! All the people that worked everywhere were so friendly!
Very alive, very exciting, full of energy and adventure. "SNOWMOBILE", "ZIPTRECK", "Lost Lake" that we tried were very excellent. Seeing people traversing in streets with ski equipments was very interesting. Whister is Village of Ski.
We visit Whistler at least once every ski season. Our stay at the Summit Lodge was outstanding. The location in the upper village makes it close to all the action yet at a safe distance from the party crowd. The staff at the Summit Lodge was extremely friendly. The value with the hot tub, sauna and pool make this a really good deal. We had these amenities all to ourselves!!! It was absolutely fantastic.
Be prepared to "pay the price" for BIG MOUNTAIN skiing! But where else are you going to find this kind of Winter Experience within a couple hours drive of Vancouver? There is a vast offering of activities and cuisine within the village not to mention the whole apres ski experience (should it be drinks or hot tub or BOTH!)

We stayed in the sister hotel to executive suits, which was situated right on village stroll, the heart of Whistler village. We were informed that we were staying in the sister hotel upon check, in which the staff were informative of where to go to find it. Our room was great! Comfortable and clean. The wifi kept dropping in and out, which once we informed staff they sent someone right away to resolve it. Despite being closely located to the hustle and bustle of the town including the bars, our room was very quiet. Enjoyed our stay here a lot!

Nice hotel right in the heart of Whistler. Rooms are spacious and clean, for our family of 3 we booked a room with 2 double beds which were a bit smaller compared to all other hotels within out Canada trip. Hotel is nice but knowing we booked a Hilton we expected a bit more for the price. Room is ok but has a 90s charm. Don't get me wrong, overall a great hotel its only the expectations you have when you check in at a Hilton and see the price at the invoice.

First off the building and rooms are fantastic, very beautiful. The hotel is literally right next to nita lake and they offer complimentary canoes and mountain bikes. The staff are very cheerful and helpful. As soon as we arrived we booked an extra night because we liked it so much. Its about a 5-10 minute drive to whistler village and they offer a shuttle to the tourist centre at the village.

Sunday Buffet was extraordinary as were their Concierge Services. The staff was also wonderful and very helpful in recommending and reserving activities and dining outside of the hotel. It was our Anniversary and we were treated to a very nice plate of chocolates as we entered our room. Our experience was that the Fairmont Chateau Whistler is the best there is.. and then some.

The host was excellent in communications (its a house share really rather than a hotel as you rent a private section of the house). The location is amazing, free parking, very peaceful, twenty mins walk from whistler village or around five mins driveand lots of hikes nearby. The flat itself is lovely, really spacious, hot water, good heating and good storage space.

The proximity to entrances to both blackcomb and whistler was ideal. The hotel was able to secure us ski rentals and a reduced rate which was very helpful. Friendly staff as well. We stayed during an unseasonably cold stretch and a pipe in the hotel broke and the staff did a great job evacuating everyone and quickly getting us back inside.

This room #130 is a rare find. It was in a quaint lodge at the center of the upper village so conveniently located across the well appointed Village Market. It’s appropriately decorated to create the ambiance of a lodge versus a modern hotel. It’s complete with everything you will ever need for a family of four. We loved it.

Clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Facilities and amenities were also very good such as those in the room, pool and hot tub and washer/dryer with boot and glove warming rack. The hotel location was in very close procimity to the whistler gondola and in the centre of the village.

Hotel is well located on walking distance from any hotspot in Whistler village. We had a studio for two nights which was OK but quite small. The staff is friendly and there are lots of facilities such as a gym and heated pool. Overall we had a good stay and loved Whistler!

The Service was incredible, nothing was a problem and every request was actioned immediately. Considering the village and hotel were in peak season, the staff, especially Conceirge, made our first time to Whistler truly memorable.

What a surprise! We have stayed in many hotels in Whistler over the years but this was our first time at Summit and it was delightful. The pool area felt secluded and fun. Plus the rooms had everything you needed.
