Whistler is generally great, we go there a lot... but I was not impressed with the so called safety protocols they had in place... I felt that most of it was for show and they did nothing to address the over crowding in the restaurants, bars, line ups, and the main corridor of the village.
We love coming here with the family. The hiking and biking is our favourite part. Also the restaurants and and our accommodations are always great. We can’t seem to catch a break with the weather in July though
GREAT!!! I am beginner Snowboarder. There are GREAT beginner area. Of course you can enjoy for MID LEVEL to ADVNATAGE LEVEL people as well. I took snowboard lesson at POCONO, PA. Whistler Instructors are 100 times better than Pocono. I could not turn but after 4 days i can snowboard with hill/ toe turn. If you are thinking to go Whistler, please go. If you learn Ski or snowboard, please take lesson. They are GREAT instructors.
By far the best resort I have ever skied! Huge, wide open, not crowded on the runs -- even though this was the busiest week of the year -- super friendly everywhere. Gondola lines pretty long at times (when a gondola went down, and at mid-morning), but not unexpected and still good people moving systems. Absolutely beautiful area! Great skiing, despite no new snow for the week, and well groomed on the greens and blues. Rarely any icy spots. Able to do LOTS of vertical (TWICE as much as our last ski trip)!
Whistler / Blackcomb is a great destination summer or winter. For the skier, the high alpine region brings deep powder snow, great terrain and an amazing amount of vertical drop. Swimming in alpine lakes, hiking and cycling are great summer activities. Don't miss the Scandinavian Spa to recover from long ski days.
Whistler is full of nice people, good food on and off the slopes. There is a free bus shuttle near the village. The skiing is great on both mountains not to mention there are plenty of other fun things to do.
We stayed in the sister hotel to executive suits, which was situated right on village stroll, the heart of Whistler village. We were informed that we were staying in the sister hotel upon check, in which the staff were informative of where to go to find it. Our room was great! Comfortable and clean. The wifi kept dropping in and out, which once we informed staff they sent someone right away to resolve it. Despite being closely located to the hustle and bustle of the town including the bars, our room was very quiet. Enjoyed our stay here a lot!
First off the building and rooms are fantastic, very beautiful. The hotel is literally right next to nita lake and they offer complimentary canoes and mountain bikes. The staff are very cheerful and helpful. As soon as we arrived we booked an extra night because we liked it so much. Its about a 5-10 minute drive to whistler village and they offer a shuttle to the tourist centre at the village.
Sunday Buffet was extraordinary as were their Concierge Services. The staff was also wonderful and very helpful in recommending and reserving activities and dining outside of the hotel. It was our Anniversary and we were treated to a very nice plate of chocolates as we entered our room. Our experience was that the Fairmont Chateau Whistler is the best there is.. and then some.
The host was excellent in communications (its a house share really rather than a hotel as you rent a private section of the house). The location is amazing, free parking, very peaceful, twenty mins walk from whistler village or around five mins driveand lots of hikes nearby. The flat itself is lovely, really spacious, hot water, good heating and good storage space.
The place is amazing. Located in a quiet area, surrounded by nature and yet very close to the Village. Bus #5 stops at the door. Short walk to the slopes through forrest trails. I went as solo traveler. It’s a huge house (fits 8 very comfortably). I decided to stay there as the deal (last minute - week days) was cheaper than the pod hotel for one person.
Loved the location, just outside of the whistler stroll. Walked to the whistler lifts in about 10 minutes. Hotel was clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable and price was reasonable compared to other nearby hotels. Really appreciate free WiFi too. Also liked going in the outdoor hot tub after a day on the mountain.
Clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Facilities and amenities were also very good such as those in the room, pool and hot tub and washer/dryer with boot and glove warming rack. The hotel location was in very close procimity to the whistler gondola and in the centre of the village.
This was our second time staying at the Delta in Whistler and we love it there! Perfect location in the village and the price for a room for 5 people was reasonable. We stayed in a very nice 2 bedroom suite. All of the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this hotel!

This is a very comfortable and very affordable hotel. The beds were soft and comfortable. Plenty of room and always had hot water. Easy walk to the main gondolas and all that Whistler has to offer. Friendly staff from the reception to the cleaners. Definitely stay here again.
Hotel is well located on walking distance from any hotspot in Whistler village. We had a studio for two nights which was OK but quite small. The staff is friendly and there are lots of facilities such as a gym and heated pool. Overall we had a good stay and loved Whistler!
The pods are a fun place to stay in for a couple of nights. Everywhere is modern and clean, the staff are super friendly too! The hotel is located in the centre of Whistler village and there is onsite parking which we booked ahead of arrival.
What a surprise! We have stayed in many hotels in Whistler over the years but this was our first time at Summit and it was delightful. The pool area felt secluded and fun. Plus the rooms had everything you needed.
In the heart of whistler, the hotel was close to the main village, major ski lifts and restaurants. The rooms were spacious and had many nice amenities. Really fluffy pillows!
The hotel is in walking distance to Whistler village, yet one is insulated from the noisy music and nightlife.
It is in the best location of the whistler village. The room has a fireplace and was perfect. Good spa
This hotel is in the centre of whistler village!
Very cost nice hotel in Whistler
Good area of the village. Walking distance to most things
