Blackcomb Springs Suites was a perfect place for a great pet-friendly family vacation. We had one dog with us. Staff were always very accommodating. Superb ski-in ski-out location. Dog could run on snow after lifts shut down. Ski valet super helpful. This is going to be our go-to place for Whistler-Blackcomb especially when we have a pet with us. Parking was plentiful, just be aware that there is a modest pet fee and daily parking fee (of which knew about prior to check-in).

This is a town that grew out of the 2010 Olympics, so it has a kind of Disney-wildnerness feel. It's GORGEOUS and outdoorsy. I especially liked the Squamish Cultural Center, which was well worth the trip. I bought a ticket to the Audoin Museum, but they failed to mention it was only open Wednesday-Sundays, and I was there on a Tuesday. I found the town hard to get around--it is not car friendly, which is excellent in principle but not in practice. I had a STELLAR dinner at the Barefoot Bistro in the Listel Hotel. The drive alone, along the Sea to Sky highway, makes this a trip to remember.
We've been travelling to Whistler for a very long time and everytime it is the best trip away! We live in North Vancouver and we love travelling to Whistler for a weekend away. It is only about 2 hours away by car (depending on traffic) and has lots of things to do for both kids and adults. The restaurants are unbelievable (world class) and lots of outdoor activities to do including great walks and bike rentals. We ate at La Bocca for the first time and I would highly recommend it! Best italian food I've had in a long time and located right on the main street of Whistler.
Whistler comes with a big reputation but for the life of me I can't think why. Ski lifts show no regard for the skier, it certainly isn't picturesque, and is grotesquely expensive. I worked out it cost £275 per person per day to ski here (lift pass + rental equipment). Eating and drinking out is equally pricey. Europe has far better (and cheaper) resorts.
The unit had a great location - near all the lifts and stores but not right in the middle of it. It was nice and quiet at night. The unit was very well maintained and had a well-equipped kitchen so we were able to make simple things instead of dining out all the time. Check in process was easy. The managing agent was very responsive. I had a question during our stay and it was answered (via email) within a few hours.
Whistler has world class skiing, a gorgeous village to peruse on foot while staying. Great options for shopping, restaurants, spas, hotels. There are plenty of non-skiing outdoor activities for any season. Art galleries and museums to explore too. A great mountain getaway any time of the year.
Fantastic ski town. It is a true testament to what a ski village is all about. Places like Banff, or Vale do not compare to the accessibility to the hills right from walking distance. Plenty of great places to eat. The ski hills are what make this place incredible tho. Lots of variety for all levels of skiers. The black and double black hills are phenomenal!! A lot of the blue hills can feel like black at times, probably because of muscle fatigue tho, lol! If you haven’t been to these two mountains, you are missing out. Book at trip before the 2023 season comes to a close! Get out and Ski!
Whistler
We had a junior suite with living area and bedroom. It was great to have all the space. I like how the hotel is newer, built in 2004. I am still worried about Whistler’s water quality (lead in the water) and I feel comfortable staying at the Four Seasons as it has newer plumbing and when I contacted the hotel to inquire about their water quality they consulted their Building engineer and told me they have done lead level testing.
Whistler
Gabrielle/Noah front desk staff were completely competent and friendly, I felt the staff cared about the guest experience (something some 5 star hotels could learn from), they were professional and extremely courteous yet provided an environment which put one at ease and immediately enjoy a relaxed vacation. Hotel location is superb with direct access to the village and the multitude of valley trails.
Tantalus hotel is our place to stay in Whistler. It is 5 min walk to the centre of the village, which makes it quiet enough place and close enough to see all “action” Staff is very friends and accommodating all our needs. We appreciate to have 2bathroom in 2bedroom units , full kitchen and spacious living room. We stay 2-3times every year here and have no regrets.
Whistler
Pangea Pod Hotel is great for solo travellers or couples wanting to travel on a budget. Centrally located in the heart of Whistler. All facilities such as toilet and shower were extremely clean. Pod bed and pillows were ultra comfy. Super fast Wifi. Easy space for luggage in pod and storage facilities for bikes/snow gear available.
The room was spacious, recently updated and very clean and comfortable. We've stayed in Whistler many times before and this was probably one of the best places. The spa bath was amazing. The location is very good- very quiet and just a minute walk to the village. The staff were very polite and professional.
Whistler
I had happily stayed at many fairmont hotels before but the whislter location was the worst experience i have encountered and definitely not a fairmont experience. The Pillows had a weird smell to them and I got charged extra for parking my vehicle 😒 and I needed different passes on every exit and every entry..
that was our second time staying in this hotel. it is worth the price . clean rooms with coffee machine and good access to the restaurants. basically with 10 steps u will b in the village. I feel parking is abit expensive paying 28$ per night but that is the culture of Whistler.
Best stay by far in Whistler! Not in the Village but very close walking distance, literally 2 seconds away. Trevor (Host) was very easy to get a hold of. The room was awesome (apartment style) comfy, clean and very spacious. BONUS it had a private Hot Tub and a washer/dryer.
Whistler
This hotel is perfectly located a very short stroll into Whistler village and all the wonderful aspects of this beautiful location. The rooms are clean and spacious with all the amenities you need on site. The staff were friendly and the price was very reasonable
Loved the peaceful location above the village, and only a 3 min drive or quick (free) shuttle. Hotel built very well and nothing felt cheap or worn-out. Pool and hot tubs a ten!
Whistler
It is very quite. The beautiful location and face the lake. Free shuttle to whistler village . The hotel is nice to surprise my bottle a bootle of wine for his birthday.
One of the few hotels in Whistler with "breakfast included". The locations is perfect and the staff is very nice.
We had a good stay in the room we always book at Aava Hotel, great hotel and good location close to Whistler village.
It’s walking distance to the village and in a quiet area . Close to the Fairmont and other restaurants and hotels.
