This was one of the best places I have ever stayed. Despite having a great location, they were really accommodating. I had to postpone my trip for some reasons and they moved my reservation, then they upgraded it as well. Check in was smooth and the receptionist very nice, giving us hike advices and what to do in town. The room was spacious and perfect for 6 people. Definitely recommend it and we already want to go back!

Incredible place to visit. The beauty of the community and surrounding mountains offered a lot of peace and tranquility for us. We highly recommend a visit to Whistler for anyone looking for an ideal place to rest, relax, and enjoy outdoor summer activities (hiking, biking, sight seeing, etc.). We have no doubt the winter months offer wonderful skiing and snow boarding opportunities. Definitely do the Peak to Peak Gondola and the Suspension Bridge on Whistler Mountain. Of the two peaks Whistler Mountain has lots more to offer for shopping and food. Views were spectacular. Magical place!

Peak to peak gondola ride was great.
Peak to peak gondola ride was great. Helicopter tour with landing on glacier was a lifetime joy. These events and tours are pricey but worth it. Likewise, there are excellent restaurants to suit a variety of tastes and price ranges. This is not a budget-friendly trip, but it offers great value because many of the tours and events are unique, giving you a lifetime of wonderful memories.

We loved wandering around the village, lots to see and do.
We loved wandering around the village, lots to see and do. We took our grandson on this trip as a special birthday celebration. We did peak to peak fantastic experience! Our hotel staff were great but the hotel is very dated not overly clean in fact the hot tub was very nasty! We ate at avalanche pizza it was delicious pizza our grandson has a food dye allergy so we had to be very selective. We enjoyed Starbucks, and treats at a pasty shop. There are lots of choices for food

Nice and cozy mountain town known for the Winter Olympics...
Nice and cozy mountain town known for the Winter Olympics 2010. We ate at Quattro, which was delightful. Also worth trying are Purebread Cafe for great pastries and coffee, as well as Avalanche Pizza and (my favourite) the Dubh Linn Gate Irish Pub! Amazing food and Guiness, and great live music too.

It is an excellent location for outdoor activities.
It is an excellent location for outdoor activities. We visited in the summer so that we could hike in the local area and it exceeded out expectations with incredible views and beautiful scenery wherever you looked. The amenities in the village are outstanding and seemed to cater for everyone. We will would return for a longer stay at some time in the future.

In general, inside the Whistler village is so overrated!
In general, inside the Whistler village is so overrated! Almost all restaurants charge exorbitant prices for very low quality dishes, I would strongly advise anyone going here to research the ratings of any place they are going to eat in before going there! Even the grocery store here charge ridiculous prices for their most basic amenities. Whistler village is an over commercialised village that has little to no character…
