I think it is a good place for the young, or young couples, huge room included living room, also have full kitchen downstairs. But it may be not fit for middle age man or couples because it is not quiet.

The sites are varied!
The sites are varied! The city had 'Folklaram' a cultural event showcasing various cultures having pavillions with food, dancing, and music. There were sporting events, food events, and always something happening in Winnipeg during the summer months! I do recommend to rent a car as it is a very spread out city but lots of parks, beaches and National or Provincial Parks very close to the city outskirts.

The Forks is a good place to have food and pick up...
The Forks is a good place to have food and pick up souventirs. The Canadian Mint has a tour that shows how Canadian coins are made. If one is interested there is the only Federal museum outisde of Ottawa. It is the museum of Human Rights. The Assiniboine Zoo is very good. There is a trian that will take you into some original prairie and through some towns where you can stop and pick up baking and other items. Winnipeg has another museum downtown. If one is into sports there are golf courses. The arean which is downtown during hockey season has an NHL tems the Winnipeg Jets and an AHL tems the Manitoba Moose.

Winnipeg has a lot to offer.
Winnipeg has a lot to offer. Among many attractions the Human Rights Museum is a must see for all to experience. It is thought- provoking providing an opportunity to reflect on our society and our responsibility to do our part to make this world a better place for future generations.

This is a great city to explore.
This is a great city to explore. There is lots of history, it is very multicultural and there is a vibrant arts scene. There are also lots of green spaces within the city, including Fort Whyte Alive and the Assiniboin Park and Zoo.

I only stayed here because of flight delay, but if I needed...
I only stayed here because of flight delay, but if I needed a place for a couple of days, this would have been a great hotel to stay at. The staff here and in the restaurant/bar were very very good and friendly.

The Bar was right below our room and the music was very loud until midnight. The TV didn't work as there was a color bar rolling across the screen. The bathroom was not clean..The Staff requested a damage deposit and refused to return this until 3 days after we left...The free breakfast was not what we eat...alot of pork...The location was downtown Winnipeg..nothing to do with the Airport ...our worst experience in staying in motels in our 13 day holiday to Toronto and back to Munson Alberta..

We enjoyed the spacious room and the grandness of the hotel. The staff was friendly and welcoming and the restaurant and sunset terrace bar are good quality places. While the sunset terrace has good value for money, the oval room restarant is rather pricey. We enjoyed the breakfast, but it is also on the expensive side.However in general, the hotel is good value for money. The hotel is a social hub for Winnipeg, the trainstation and the amazing Forks is very closeby.

Linens, maintenance, pool, cleanliness and room size were great on floor 3. Safety of parking lot for large vehicle was great. We cancelled a downtown hotel due to parking and safety concerns. We stayed here instead.

Loved being downtown, and we were on the 21st floor so we had great views of the city. The buffet breakfast was excellent with many options and a pleasant surprise, as we expected it to be like the usual hotel fare.

Good location, 5 mins from downtown and also near The Forks and the Museum of Canadian National History.
No problem storing luggage at the hotel.
