The dinner was of a high standard and the set menus were excellent, as was the service. The staff were super friendly, helpful and very easy to talk to. The rooms and beds were very comfortable too. The hotel location was excellent, being so close to the Hornli lift and really peaceful. The Hotel Stoffel was the perfect getaway, and I will definitely stay there again when I next visit Arosa. Very highly recommended!

Great trip up the valley on the train from Chur.
Great trip up the valley on the train from Chur.
The skiing is directly above the town so quick and easy to get going and get back.
At the top, there is a cable car that links to Lenzerheide.
The pistes are very fairly graded into blue, red and black.
I didn't go off-piste but there seems a lot of it.
Arosa is a good-sized resort with 2 supermarkets and enough cafes/restaurants/shops.
If you are in a party, it is best to reserve restaurant tables in the evenings.
There are bus services around the resort.
Taxis and horse rides are at the station.
If it has been snowing heavily, the streets and pavements may not be clear of snow so arrive in winter footwear.
I would stay here again.

I am totally biased for Arosa is filled with wonderful...
I am totally biased for Arosa is filled with wonderful childhood memories. Now, being slightly handicapped, I still enjoyed it. The air, the calm on the hills, the views, the hikes, the food…. There is something for everyone and every age (says a great-grandma!😂). Take a horse cariage ride! Visit the museum! Visit the bears sanctuary! Walk up the squirrels way and let them and the birds get nuts out of your hands…

Cleanliness,well proportioned room with a fridge and lovely bathroom.Easy parking outside.There are no staff on site and the contact no was out of service.This is a self service hotel and is best viewed as a bed for the night or longer if you use the local cafes and eateries for your sustanance.
The hotel has alot of character with a games room and a bar .Being out of season it was very quite and the bar was not in use.I would go again the only issue I had was not being a tec head was getting into the hotel.You need to go to the link on your confirmation e mail to check in to get the access code and room no.Not always easy at journeys end and being awake for 28 hrs.

The town lacks a true center, but still offers plenty of Apres Ski and shops.
Go visit Yolanda and her daughter at the Arosa Shop for quality souveniers - we bought hoodies and T-Shirts for the entire family. They are friendly and fun! The sport shops are knowledgable and helpful.

Overall, Arosa is an excellent ski resort. Variety of slopes, very nice restaurants and bars on the slopes and in town, friendly people.
Good variety of shops, free bus service, comfortable parking right at the lifts.

Beautiful ski resort, loved the free bus which went every 20 mins and took you to the top of the sledding slope and also the beginners ski slope so you didnt need lift / gondola passes for those. We didnt ski so cant comment on that but had great fun sledding and feeding squirrels on on the beautiful squirrel walk.

You can clearly feel that it’s a high class hotel. From all the comforts, kind staff behavior, services.
Extreme cleanliness, which in general is hard to get.
Great breakfast.
The nice view from the panoramic windows of the room. The big Spa area, even if the included ones are just the upper floor with the big pool divide in section and the half floor with saunas.

This was our second time at Home Hotel Arosa and we will definitely visit again and again. The room had everything we needed, the breakfast was amazing, the staff extremely friendly and helpful, location great. Charlie's Restaurant is a highlight every time!

Location is perfect over looking the lake and not far from all the ski lifts. Facilities are great and the hotel is very clean and modern. Staff are extremely friendly and always helpful. Really enjoyed our stay.
