DenmarkOur recent stay at Frutigresort in Frutigen, Switzerland, was absolutely fantastic and we can't recommend it enough, especially for families! This resort truly lives up to its motto of "arrive and simply enjoy."
From the moment we checked in, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Our room was comfortable, modern, and spotlessly clean, offering a lovely balcony with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains – perfect for enjoying our morning coffee. We particularly appreciated the spacious bathroom and the thoughtful touches like tea and coffee facilities in the room.
What truly sets Frutigresort apart are the incredible facilities and endless activities available right on site. The highlight for us was definitely the fantastic indoor and outdoor swimming pools, which provided hours of entertainment for the whole family. It's so convenient to have such well-maintained pool areas accessible to guests.
Beyond the pools, there's so much to do! The kids absolutely loved the adventure playground, mini-golf, and the artificial turf pitch. There were even table tennis facilities and a climbing tower for those seeking a bit more adventure. It's clear this resort has been designed with families in mind, ensuring there's something to keep everyone entertained, no matter their age.
The location in Frutigen is also excellent, serving as a perfect base for exploring the stunning Bernese Oberland. We enjoyed easy access to hiking trails, and for those interested in winter sports, we learned it's also a great spot for skiing with a free ski bus service available. Public transport is easily accessible, and having free parking at the resort was a huge plus.
The breakfast buffet at the BEMATO restaurant was a wonderful start to each day, offering a good variety of options to fuel up for our adventures.

United KingdomThe apartment was fantastic & very good value for money. It was exceptionally clean, well equipped & stylishly furnished. Everything was of excellent quality & very comfortable. The hosts made us feel very welcome & could not have been more helpful or hospitable. The location was very convenient with the bus stop being in view of the front door. Spiez is an excellent place to stay as it is on the mail railway line with easy access in all directions. Having stayed in Switzerland over 20 times this was the best rental apartment we have been to & we will definately return here.

MalaysiaWe spent 4 wonderful nights here in the mountains. The owner is incredibly thoughtful and generous. She kindly stocked the fridge with a variety of food for us, which was such a lovely surprise.
The chalet has everything you could possibly need for a stay with five people—from food to all the basic necessities. Even the bathroom feels like a 5-star hotel, with luxurious towels, bathrobes, and high-quality toiletries.
Most of the appliances are premium brands, including Miele, which made our stay even more comfortable. Every detail has been carefully thought out, making this one of the best places we’ve ever stayed.
You can really tell the owner has put a lot of care, effort, and attention into creating such an exceptional chalet.
We would definitely book this chalet again if we ever come back to Switzerland!

MalaysiaWe had an excellent stay in Frutigen! The house was exactly as shown in the pictures—clean, well-maintained, and beautifully furnished. The surrounding views of the Alps and mountains were absolutely stunning, making every moment feel like a postcard.
All the amenities were complete, and everything we needed was provided. Parking was available, which made things even more convenient. The host was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed.
Truly a peaceful and memorable experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy the Swiss Alps in comfort!
