spacious, very clean room, Location very near central train station

It takes 10mins to the main station and there is a pass way with roof to the station. It’s located next to the railways, but it’s very quiet. People who stay at the hotel can get a free tram ticket in the city.

clean, quit and all around with amazing buildings for visiting for architects the stay imcluded free public transport ticket for each for as all day ticket

Great location, beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was just enough and great we got free transport tickets for the time we were there.

We usually avoid 2-star hotels, but the restaurant and half-board option made us choose Hotel Rheinfelderhof, and it exceeded our expectations. The deluxe double room was exactly as described: spacious, comfortable, warm, with a large double bed, a sofa, a refrigerator, and a very large bathroom. Breakfast was a varied buffet with plenty of choices. Dinner included a soup or salad, four main course options to choose from, and a vanilla pudding for dessert. We received the Basel Card by email from the hotel before our arrival, which gave us free access to public transportation and a 50% discount on museums. This was a fantastic bonus and made our stay even more enjoyable. We truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Great location, superb staff..

I have only positive things to say about this hotel and the staff. The hotel is ideal located in front of the main train station in Basel. Even if the room booked was for one single person, the room was bigger and with a large bed, for two people. The most important thing was that I received the room very early, at 08:00 in the morning without. paying anything for early check-in. I was very tired after a long flight, so it was extremely appreciated! Thank you so much for making me feel so good!

Room excelent with a huge bathroom very clean and cozy Breakfast excellent Location very good just accross the street from the station and walk distance from centreville

Really recommend. Everything was fine.

Everything was perfect Hotel Room At the reception Perfect Location Bar I will be back again Greetings to the girl at the reception, she was overly kind while I was checking out :)

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was close to a lot of amenities and not too long a walk from the train station

Very friendly and helpful staff make our trip more enjoyable, easy access to public transportation, a great place to stay while you’re in Basel.

Great location, friendly staff, awesome breakfast. I also loved that the hotel gave us a card that we could use for free local transport. The breakfast was wonderful with many options - eggs, various meats and local cheeses, salad ingredients with their homemade dressing, local baked goods and a waffle station. We really enjoyed our stay! There’s even a sauna you can reserve.

Perfect place for the Basel city trip with or without family. Amazing garden, great breakfast, comfortable room, nice and helpful hotel staff.

Spacious and clean room. Location is great to visit both Basel and Bottmingen with the tram stop just in front of the hotel. The trash bin in the bathroom was not cleaned up before arrival, but the staff promptly apologized and offered free breakfast for the entire stay. A very nice gesture that shows they care about high standards.

The welcoming, informative and very friendly staff!!! On a 10/10 score I would rate the staff at the reception 11. Not only they were super friendly and welcoming but the lady who checked me in try her best to speak italian with me to makes things easier. I am fluent in both English and French (they all speak both there, plus German) but she couldn't possibly know, it was just natural for her to try and gave me the easiest check in ever. Also, the hotel is just 5 minutes away from the train station so very convenient if you arrive late by train. I would certainly recommend it and use it again in the future.

This hotel lies just next the train station and the city centre. Its quiet situation and the comfortable beds are two strongest points as well as the very good breakfast, offering the sweet and the salty, fresh kinds of bread and jams and so on. The hotel staff was also attentive.

It's the second time I chose to stay at this hotel. It's a great value for money, perfectly clean ana at a great location. The high quality coffee machine at the lobby was a very nice surprise - much appreciated! Based on my experience up to the point with the hotel, I would definitely stay there again.

Excelent location, close to everything, spacious room, comfy beds. Very clean, very good breskfast, pleasent and helpful staff. Couldn.^t ask for more . A bonus was that we got a free upgrade of the room. Would stay here again

The hotel is situated right next to the railway station and there is a tram stop right in front of the hotel. The hotel provides day tickets to the public transport so it was very easy to take the tram a few stops to the centre. There are plenty of restaurants and food opportunities around the hotel, including the Markthalle food court. The hotel was clean and staff very friendly.

The hotel has a very good location, perfect for exploring the city. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety and fresh options. I especially appreciated the card provided by the hotel, which can be used for public transportation as well as transfer to the airport – very practical and convenient. Overall, a very positive experience and I would gladly stay here again.

Soft comfortable bed, good coffee machine, good breakfast in a nice rooftop restaurant
