An absolutely wonderful hotel in a beautiful location just ten minutes from the Swiss border. The Spa is nice and well maintained and the Restaurants are great and reasonably priced.

We liked everything. The staff was very friendly, they guided us and gave us advices. The room was comfortable and warm. Very close to the Sbb station.

The Hotel location is very good. from the name understood that hotel is smart there is not any personal to contact during enterance. So with using special machine you are registering and geting your room card. it was very easy for me. Very Clean and sweet hotel. I am recommending this hotel.

Very well located to get access to the tram and into Basel and also to drive south into some of the countryside. Parking was easy and away from traffic. Rooms were basic and a little dated but very clean and very good value for money. The team were kind and helpful, I don't speak any German and their English was good. The breakfast was good, a nice selection of meats, cheeses, pastries, fruit and yoghurt. Well done the Lionesses for retaining the Euros :-)

Durch die Möglichkeit eines late check in war die Anreise für mich sehr entspannt. Das Zimmer mit Bad war top eingerichtet und hat keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Das Staff war extrem freundlich und liebevoll. Die Lage ist absolut ruhig. Das Frühstück war sehr umfangreich und hat auch keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Staff were very friendly and there was a fridge full of free local beers! Breakfast was good and included in the price. Hotel was well maintained and very clean.

Excellent hotel near the station Basel SBB, stylish design, cozy. The room has a kettle and a minibar with delicious organic drinks. Breakfast is also varied with the best coffee! The staff is very friendly. I had a great rest and have a great impression.

Having stayed here every time I visit Basel, I feel at home here. The generous buffet has become too expensive so I did not include that with the room. I had a smaller economy room this time but the bathroom is larger than some hotel rooms I've stayed in!!

I had a fantastic stay at Ibis Styles Hotel! First and foremost, the staff were absolutely wonderful—everyone from the receptionists to the breakfast team, and the cleaners were genuinely friendly and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable. The location is also excellent. It’s within walking distance of the train station (SBB) and just a 20-minute walk to St. Jacobshalle event venue.. For anyone planning to visit for an event at St. Jacob's and who doesn’t mind walking 20-30 mins this hotel is a great choice. I was anxious about the walk when booking however the walk was just a straight road. Very safe walking and easy to cross roads with lots of zebra crossings. While there aren’t many restaurants in the immediate area, there is a fantastic Thai restaurant just opposite to the right of the hotel. The hotel itself doesn’t serve food beyond breakfast, but the breakfast provided was excellent for a 3-star hotel, with plenty of options including gluten free (gluten free bread 👌). The 24-hour coffee machine offering tea and various coffee choices, which was a great touch. Don't be put off by other reviews where people state about the nearby railway track. The railway track has no interference with this hotel. Overall, Ibis Styles is located in a good location perfect for accessing St Jacobshalle and Basel city. Highly recommended!
