I had a truly wonderful stay at Stadthof Glarus. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. The hotel is located in a beautiful spot right in the center of Glarus, making it easy to explore the town and enjoy the stunning mountain views. The rooms have been recently renovated and it really shows—everything felt fresh, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The combination of modern comfort and classic charm made for a very relaxing stay. One of the absolute highlights was the service. Every member of the staff was exceptionally kind, attentive, and helpful. Whether it was providing local recommendations or making sure I had everything I needed, they went above and beyond. The hotel’s restaurant deserves special mention. The menu offers a great variety, but the Lebanese food in particular was outstanding. It’s not something you expect to find in the Swiss Alps, but it was genuinely some of the best I’ve had—full of authentic flavors and clearly made with care. The hummus, falafel, and grilled dishes were all amazing. Overall, Stadthof Glarus exceeded my expectations. It’s a perfect mix of comfort, hospitality, and great food in a charming location. I would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

A spacious room with all I needed. For people who have issues to sleep when it is not completely dark, it is not perfect (and a little noisy bc of the street). But it did not disturb me! Very good place to stay for a night or two :)

Our stay in this house was amazing. Bojana and Marco are great and caring hosts. They were always there to answer all our questions and share recomendations about local attractions. Sessions in the hot tub was a highlight of our stay, we had very romantic time there. Bojana prepared delicious cheese founde for us and we extremely enjoyed ride on e-bikes. Bojana and Marco suprised us a few times with a small extras, like a gift with local sweets, glass of wine and snacks for our hot tub session or finally goodbye card in our native language. They have eye for the details and you can really feel like home there. Everything was excellent. Thank you Bojana and Marco!
