Very courteous owner and very comfortable place for a night stop over

Place very quiet in a wonderful village. Room very clean Friendly staff

Its a wonderful place and excellent service.

People (personal), location, and breakfast was really nice. Small room for 1 which was enough, just separated bathroom on the next door in the corridor. The corner room had no internet which was the main minus especially if you need to work.. By 15 min walk you can find a nice 100 year old cave to go inside the past. :)

Nadia is an awesome hostess. She received us in the night of Dec. 31st to Jan. 1st, made us feel at home and even toasted with us at midnight. It was really nice experience and ambience.

Large clean room, nicely decorated and a comfortable bed. Nice location with a view and quiet for a good nights sleep. We travelled by car and there was ample parking at the hotel.

Thank you so much for the wonderful stay! The hotel was very good, clean and comfortable, and we really enjoyed our time here. Everything was perfect. We would be happy to stay again! ❤️

Next to Fanel/Chablais du Cudrefin. Perfect for late/early bird watching.

This small hotel may not be situated in the most picturesque location, but it serves as an excellent base for couples looking to explore a range of interesting attractions within a 70-kilometer radius, including the cities of Murten, Neuchâtel, La Chaux-de-Fonds, Solothurn, Fribourg, Bern, and Thun. It offers a comfortable, very well equipped and quiet place to rest after a day of sightseeing.

A perfect room for a family with small kids. The panoramic view is amazing. There is a hiking path to the lake of Murten just underneath the hotel. 20 minutes drive to Papiliorama, if you want to be there early. The best is to be at Papiliorama as soon as it opens in the morning. The breakfast is delicious and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Calme, architecture confort original

Well renovated building Good restaurant

Excellent breakfast and location

Friendly and professional personnel. Comfortable accommodation. Convenient location Dinner at the hotel was lovely. Breakfast buffet, excellent

The owner was very friendly and welcoming. The room is cozy, in an old style house.

We (my partner and our 4y kid) stayed on their 2 rooms apartment for a 4-night holiday stay during may 2026 and appreciated the separation between the night-area with the beds and the daily room with the fully equipped kitchenette. Being on the top floors we much liked the view over the Bienne lake and the quiet atmosphere of the village without any traffic noise (pedestrian zone around the hotel). Despite the medieval historic feeling of the building, the apartment was fully renovated inside.

Wonderful host, lovely room, close to the Mitterland cycleway 5

The staff at the reception and restaurant. Amazing!

Our stay was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The room was shockingly clean — honestly the cleanest hotel room I have ever experienced anywhere. Every single day, the housekeeping lady cleaned the bathroom so thoroughly as if new guests were about to arrive. Towels, glasses, everything was replaced and perfectly arranged daily. You could really feel the care and attention in every detail. ✨ The owner was incredibly kind, friendly and always willing to help with anything. The whole atmosphere of the hotel, together with the beautiful village around it, felt like something straight out of a fairytale. 🏔️ There are train tracks next to the hotel, but the trains were so unbelievably quiet that we barely even noticed them passing. The Swiss probably have a patent for silence too. 😄 Amazing stay, excellent food, wonderful people and a perfect atmosphere overall. For us, this was a clear 10/10 experience and we would happily come back again.

Big room and bathroom. Clean and confortable. Personnel very kind.

3 generations family run hotel with convenient free parking next to the hotel, son of the owner runs the kitchen if the restaurant that serves freshly prepared nice choice of food and drinks. Very nice and attentive staff at the restaurant!

I had the pleasure of staying at Bad Murten See in the Deluxe Apartment, and I can honestly say it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had! The location is absolutely stunning, right by the beautiful lake, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Waking up to such scenic views was a true highlight of my stay. The Deluxe Apartment itself was spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, with all the amenities I could possibly need for a comfortable stay. It really felt like a home away from home. The room was tastefully decorated and had a cozy, welcoming vibe. The staff was exceptional – friendly, attentive, and always eager to assist with any request. It’s clear that customer service is a top priority here, and they go above and beyond to ensure guests have a fantastic experience. The hotel offers plenty of areas to relax and unwind – whether it’s by the lake or in one of the many lounge areas. The entire environment is perfect for both relaxation and enjoying some quality time in a beautiful setting. I would definitely return to Bad Murten See on my next visit to the area! It exceeded all my expectations, and I can’t recommend it highly enough!

Nice location, the rooms are recently renovated. Great variety of pillows. The breakfast is nice. Price/quality is what you expect.
