The nicely designed and spacious rooms, former parts of a textile factory, are a great place to rest and to make a small walk to the breathtaking views of the Walensee, specially from.this side of the lake. Taking a swim at the lake from the beach side, next to the camping, with the views of the more than 2.000 metres high mountains right in front of you, super steep, is an amazing experience. The staff at the hotel was extra nice and made us feel great at the facilities. The gym is also nice, which you can access from 8 am to 9 pm in the building in front, entrance D. We didn't take the breakfast because we had still a lot of stuff from our road trip, but it looked really good. I also.appreciated the Rituals soap and.shampoo that are supplied in the bathroom, nice touch. And there is also a shared terrace at the first floor, with all lofts, that we used to have dinner with our daughter and observe the mountains, great. In the lofts, both beds are comfortable and spacious, it was really relaxing to spend time at that loft with high ceilings, nice design and comfortable and big beds. I would definitely stay here again if we plan a trip to the Swiss Alps.

The hotel was a lovely place to stay during my short time in Flumserberg. It’s walking distance to the bus stop and to all of the amenities the town has to offer. The room was cozy and clean, the breakfast was very good, and the service was excellent. I also can’t recommend the spa enough.

It’s a very cute small town with beautiful views and lake...

It’s a very cute small town with beautiful views and lake trails and benches, however not every train stops there so you always have to check the trains. Not much to do in the town, not even place to eat or have a beer but it’s a great location as a base for exploring the Wales’s lake area. We enjoyed the piece and quiet and no tourists around.

Murg is a nice place if you want to avoid loads of other...

Murg is a nice place if you want to avoid loads of other tourists. Local SPAR has the friendliest shopkeeper I've ever met - super chap. Lake is clear and lovely to swim in at the little bay near the campsite. Trains are only hourly but mostly reliable. Lots of potential for hill walking (especially if you go one town over to Unterterzen for the cable car) and lake trips. Sadly we did not have enough time as it was a short stop from somewhere else before going back to Zurich for our flight.

It has a beautiful view of the mountains and the lake and is one stop away from flumserberg where you have a lot of activities withing the mountains. But it is a dead town, there is nothing much to do around

The Lofthotel is a perfect location for a short ski trip to Flumserberg. The gondola at Unterterzen is easily reached by a short train or bus trip. The main hotel rooms are nicely designed and roomy for 1 adult and 2 children, or 2 adults and 1 child. Staff are friendly and the breakfast is perfectly adequate. The New Years Day breakfast was especially good.
