Breakfast was excellent. A buffet with a choice of mueslis, fresh fruit, different breads, cheeses ham & salami not forgetting croissants etc. Everything was of a very good quality. The only negative for me was I was not too well the previous evening and was thus unable to try out the restaurant. Obviously a missed opportunity!. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful & friendly - a very well run small hotel

Perfect location in the heart of Romainmotier. Our host reached out to us throughout the booking process and on the day of arrival to welcome us. She promptly assisted when I reached out with questions and made a very lovely dinner recommendation. The room was spacious, beds comfortable and equipped with amenities. We enjoyed the picnic basket breakfast ~ the jams were delicious! Loved the ease of 24 hour self-check in and the availablity of lockers to store luggage should that be needed. Thank you!

Super friendly hosts who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Lovely card and small treats on arrival and really helpful when there was a slight technical hitch with the oven. Beautifully clean and well equipped apartment.Sad we couldn't stay longer.

We stopped for a night on the way to France. The house has a beautiful decoration and is very well taken care of. The breakfast was delicious and the Swiss chocolates too 😉 We had a great experience! Strongly recommend.

As I said in my review, I found I had paid twice.

As I said in my review, I found I had paid twice. We agreed that the extra money should be paid to a charity, and Olivier has given it to a charity in Madagascar that cares for orphans; valuable to me, as I have a granddaughter working on a project to do with the health of people in Madagascar.

The on-site restaurant was good. The staff were efficient. When I contacted the hotel after departure pointing out that they still had a security deposit of mine 'pending' on my credit card, they were quick to rectify the error and release the funds. We enjoyed the breakfast and our dinner in the restaurant.

The hotel has a definite character of its own. It might not suit those who want a more traditional, corporate experience. I was walking the Via Francigena and it suited me well. Breakfast was very good and it was nice to find a small market in the square outside on Thursday morning.

Very kitchi hotel, with atmosphere and soul. We got the Meermaid room. The staff was very helpful, the dinner at the restaurant was good and plentiful, and the breakfast was good. The hotel is right in the centre of Orbe.
