I have forgotten the owner's name (I apologize) but she was absolutely amazing. So nice, friendly, caring, helpful, etc. I asked about a local beer at dinner and she just gave us one to try, no charge. So friendly! My own teeny tiny issue was the single bed I had for the night was a slat bed and I am a very big person so some of the slats kept popping out so if you are big like me, maybe ask for a room with a double bed. That said, no hotel is 100% perfect but this is as close as it gets if you just want an affordable, clean, and comfortable place to stay with excellent food for dinner and breakfast, beautiful scenery, and, again, an amazing host who is actively involved and cares about your comfort.

Spotlessly clean, everything in working order. Breakfast is amazing, better bread than Gail's :D Architecture is beautiful and there's always someone playing something beautiful on piano at lunch time. Nuns are cute. My room had beautiful views of ilanz and mountains.

From the moment we arrived, we felt really welcomed and were even given an upgrade to a spacious room. The spa was beautiful with the outdoor jacuzzi being a favorite. We also loved the little touch of free sparkling water in the hall fridge. Slept like a baby too!

You come as a guest and leave as a friend. This is absolutely true with Gianluca as Manager together with his friendly staff. A great place to relax, nicely situated close to the village center, everything easily accessible by foot. A perfect experience, you feel very welcome and appreciated from the moment you come in!
