Breakfast is great! The hotel is very conveniently located to the ski lift. You can walk with ski boots, no need to worry about the distance. There are also two ski stores which can rent ski/snowboard. Bruno Kernen is the best hotel owner I have met so far.

Perfect as usual! My favorite place in Gstaad and one of the bests in the whole Switzerland! The spa is literally heaven on earth! The staff always friendly and ready to assist you in order to resolve any problems. Dog freindly ( and I mean it - it really is dog friendly, they even offer a dog bath) and from the manager to the chef, they all are really dog friendly! Always lovely atmosphere! Just perfect!

Excellent Staff, special thanks to Maria at the reception for very clear, precise and friendly communication. Breakfast was as good as it as can get with the room that I booked! There is nothing more that I could ask for. The chalet is in the most beautiful part of the village - slightly away from the main village (10 mins walk) so very calm, quiet and relaxing!

More than I would have expected from a budget hotel! Well-located, the room was large enough and the balcony had a nice view on the mountains. Everything was clean and the breakfast is excellent.

The location was very good with lovely views all around and...

The location was very good with lovely views all around and it was easy to get to the next village, Zweisimmen, which had a cable car so we could go walking high up in the mountains. There is also an impressive waterfall a few miles down the road that is worth visiting. St Stephan itself is a modest sized village but quite picturesque around the church area.
