The hotel is located a one-minute walk from the station platform. We booked this hotel two days in advance. My husband has a respiratory disease. We were not sure if we could complete our trip to Switzerland, so we decided to go on the trip without booking a hotel. We took the Swiss Glacier Railway and got off at St. Moritz, but since it is at a high altitude, we decided to go back from St. Moritz to Filisur. When I booked the hotel, I made a number of requests. My husband cannot carry heavy luggage up the stairs, so I would like the room to be on the lower floor. If our room is on the second floor, I would like them to help me carry the suitcases. This hotel accepted my requests very kindly. Thank you very much. The person who checked us in was very kind and gentle, and I was very happy. We were full after eating at the Glacier Railway, but we appreciated the kind service and discussed eating at the restaurant of this hotel. However, the restaurant of the hotel only had a course menu. I am sorry that we could not eat at the restaurant. We could see the trains running from our hotel room. & we could hear the birds singing. It was a nice stay. Our room was a hut style room with a beautiful view. The hotel was very clean and there were beautiful flowers on the windows. I can tell that the staff here take good care of it on a daily basis. The staff were also very kind and friendly. I would recommend this hotel. The service was excellent. Thank you. I would like to go back someday. Thank you!

The view from the room is breathtaking! The village makes us feel like we are in a movie! And the potato soup is delicious!

The staff was super nice, a comfortable and a very friendly place. I love it!

AMAZING, remote location and great food - with really wonderful, friendly team of staff.

Great location. The staff was friendly. Rooms were a good size. Clean bathrooms and good breakfast. Right next to the bus stop from Chur

Clean. Next to supermarket. Nice breakfast noodle soup

Awesome staff, very nice room's.

Super dog friendly. Everything is extremely clean. Great breakfasts and meal options for dinner. Owners are fantastic.

We loved staying at this hotel! The location, the facilities, attention to detail and overall the care, kindness and helpfulness of the staff. Also the restaurant at the hotel has great food for grownups and for the children both at breakfast and every other meal. We could really relax and enjoy our vacation!

I love the spirit of the hotel, the history with famous visitor Hermann Hesse, the location just a few steps away from the ski lift, the view over the mountains. I had a lovely time!

The staff in the hotel were absolutely amazing, especially Elena at reception, she was super nice and extremely helpful. The saunas were amazing, the pool is beautiful with the nicest view. There is a shuttle service into town so that's pretty convenient. Everything was very clean and nice.

We were very happy with our stay at the hotel. From the service, facilities, to the location and cleanliness, everything was top notch! We especially appreciated the common room, where we could eat food we brought ourselves and drink a glass of a nice wine, courtesy of the hotel itself. Such a nice extra touch!

Staff were very professional. Breakfast was very good.

Incredible setting, truly stunning views. A very warm welcome and delicious local food served with such care and attention it really made it a memorable place. One of the most enchanting places I’ve stayed in a long time and can’t wait to return with my family and show them.

- The room was very clean, warm, and always smelled nice - the breakfast was fantastic with so many options - the sauna was very nice and the chairs in the relaxation room opposite the sauna were some of the nose comfortable I have ever sat/relaxed in, I never wanted to leave - we ate dinner at the hotel restaurant for convenience and it ended up being such a delicious meal! Hearty soup, amazing flavours, and they even had a vegetarian capuns which meant we were able to taste the local dish! - The hotel was perfectly situated near the Roland arena for the biathlon course and access to several hiking and cross country skiing tracks - we drove and the hotel parking was very convenient All in all everything about the stay was great! I was very happy with the hotel, thank you!

I arrived very early and they were so kind to offer me the room earlier so I could go and sleep. Good price/quality. Lovely staff.

We had a fantastic stay at this accommodation with amazing mountain views! The location was perfect, offering easy access to local attractions and a great atmosphere. The room was spotless and very comfortable, with a clean, well-maintained bathroom. Breakfast was a real highlight—delicious, with fresh local produce. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, going above and beyond by helping us park our sledges in the basement. Their attention to detail and hospitality truly made the experience memorable. Highly recommended!

Breakfast was amazing - a lot of local products, organic and also gluten and lactose free options

Very welcoming staff, which provided so much helpful information and answered all our questions with endless patience. Clean rooms - small but sufficient storage space, also in the bathroom. Extremely comfy beds. The hotel location is both very quiet and central. Bus stop directly in front of the door, walking distance to the lake and the Zauberwald. Breakfast offered everything you need, even Latte Macchiato, fresh fruit salad, veggies.... Only thing we missed were power outlets near the bed or a water kettle, but this is really just a comment on things we personally always make good use of. Thanks for everything!!!!
