We deceided to stay just out of Lucern for the quietness and lake view. Stansstad is a lovely small town and the people are friendly. The train comes every 20 minutes or so to travel into town along the lake. Plenty of restaurants to choose from.

It's a nice village close to Luzern and Stans.

It's a nice village close to Luzern and Stans. You can easily get the train to Luzern or Engelberg and visit the Stanserhorn bahn or the Titlis bahn. Where you can ski, take in the beautiful views or do some walking. It is by the lake and there are some good restaurants close by and also by the lake with lovely views and good pizza! you can also take a nice walk around the lake too.

Very friendly and helpful staff Close to town Their own bakery and restaurant Mega delicious breakfast buffet Quality of food was the best Cheese and buendnerfleisch Birchermuesli was a hit And so was the ruehrei The cremeschnitten from their own bakery And the pralines were also excellent And gluten free Zwiebelkuchen a hit Parking a little small but okay So was the washroom ...not much space Noisy road baustelle Aber sehr nettes personal So all in all super happy We will be back

The room was lovely, modern bathroom, constant hot water. The towels were changed frequently and the room cleaned. A wonderful balcony Bottled water was provided. I was grateful my bedroom had a ceiling fan, I don't believe all of the rooms have them , standing fans are provided. The hotel owners went that extra mile to make sure you were comfortable and had everything you needed All of the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Everything ! From the huge room size to the beautiful location and amazing lake view from our room. The staff were very helpful and friendly and accommodating. Special mention for Jasche ( reception) and Stefania ( restaurant server ) who made the experience even better. Enjoyed our breakfasts as well. Would definitely recommend this hotel 👍🏾

No lakeside view from the street-side hotel but go 50 yards around the corner and there it is. Good food and very friendly staff. Nothing to excite but a well kept hotel with all facilities at a very reasonable (Swiss) price . Easy walking distance to a station with quick travel to Lucerne or towards the mountains. Easy access to motorway.

Exceptional hotel. Very large, clean and comfortable room, with stunning view of the mountains. We were lucky be upgraded to an amazing room. Delicious breakfast and very friendly staff. Beautiful town right on the lake. Only a 6min walk to the train station, then a quick 13-15min train to Lucerne. Would definitely stay again.
