Breakfast was excellent - lots of tasty homemade things and everything very fresh. The view across the valley towards Lugano was lovely to see in the morning during breakfast. Plenty of places to sit outside in the summer. Very friendly and helpful owner.

Buongiorno Lugano First of all the staff are welcoming, gentle , helpful very professional the manager of the hotel should be proud of his team staff . Excellent location, the hotel is an a wonderful palace . The view of the marvelous lake and mountains from my room is wonderful . The room very nicely decorated , the bed so comfortable. Excellent restaurants , the breakfast as well there was a big variety with nice staff as well . my stay in hotel Royal splendid was fabulous . I highly recommend it . Grazie mille 💐

This place is fantastic! It's exceptionally clean and welcoming. The staff was incredibly kind—our room was ready early, which was perfect since we arrived feeling unwell. They really went above and beyond, even without us asking. This was our second trip to Lugano, but our first time staying here, and it was by far the best B&B with a smooth checkout.

The interior design in this hotel is exceptional. All of the amenities in your room are really high quality. Very comfortable bedding and the room was spotless. It's located beside the train station which is nice and central. We didn't have any noise disturbance through the night. We had a perfect stay!

Everything is amazing. The staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. The locaion is prfect by the lake. You can use the bus in front of the hotel to go wherever you want in Lugano using hotel free tickets. You can also use it for trains inside swizerland. The suites and superior rooms overlook the lake while garden rooms overlook the hotel beautiful garden. You can walk to the center in 15 to 20 minutes or use the bus#2 instead. It also goes to the train station. I totally recommend this classic hotel.

The hotel owner Oliver is an amazing person! Very kind, very helpful, always here for support, help and for a chat. He asks everybody if everything is fine, if they need something. The location is also great, the bus station is just in front of the hotel from where you can go to Lugano very quickly. The rooms are pretty, clean and have everything what someone could need. The hotel itself is very pretty, historical, very calm and has a beautiful garden. I will definitely come again!

Family run hotel with a Belle Epoque flair and the hosts are fantastic and very helpful people! Big rooms, very good breakfast. We used the hotel for our mountain biking in Lugano area - and the location is great for that. Also, there is a big bike storage room. If you want to see Lugano or swim in the lake - the buses are frequent and the trip takes around 35 mins, the bus stop is 1 min walk from the hotel.
