Amazing city with world-class modernist architecture (I especially recommend Bata's Memorial, the interior is breathtaking), the museum and gallery in Bata's Institute are worth recommending too. Don't come there if you don't like modern architecture though, there are barely any buildings older than 100 years.Wieczorek - Scored 1010

Favorite spots: Baťa's skyscraper (n. 21) – rooftop view, coffee bar. Baťa's Institute 14|15 with museum with exposure called "BAŤA PRINCIPLE: FANTASY TODAY, REALITY TOMORROW" – note: not opened in Monday. The same for Baťa's Monument above the Interhotel. We eat once in Makalu Nepal restaurant. I had coffee in Coffeshop Company on náměstí Míru (square). We visited cinema too. We were there over Christmas and unfortunately everything...
We were there over Christmas and unfortunately everything shuts down from midday Christmas Eve until the 27th. The restaurant in our hotel was open and had a fantastic menu. Service was excellent. The wine bar opened at 3 on the 26th and it is a must. One of the best things in town. Just around the corner from our hotel.

The villa is fairly close (12 min ride) to the Zlin Zoo we wanted to visit which was really convenient. Owner was very helpful and nice, we had to change our reservation a couple times but there wasn't any problem at all.RichardSlovakia
