The villa is furnished in a very nice style and offers a beautiful garden. This area is generally very nice and offers good connections to the city center. We got on really well with the owner and staff member. She gave us valuable tips and, when asked, also told us about the history behind this villa. All in all, we really enjoyed our extended weekend. On the day of departure we were thankfully allowed to leave our car in the parking lot to visit Augsburg on foot/by public transport. All in all really nice villa, great breakfast and super nice staff. We would love to come back!

The Place has a nice retro-esque style and is located very centrally. The beds were like sleeping on a cloud and the location was very quiet at night. I‘d like to give credits to our dapper reception working who was exceedingly helpful and gave us excellent recommendations.

Very nice town.

Very nice town. Much more clean, open, and quiet than Munich. A handful of local museums, nature spots, and historical building would be enough for 6-7 casual days, or 4 fast-paced ones. Tram system is very convenient to get around. Downsides - lots of smokers, most places are closed Sunday.

The whole city is beautiful with so much history!

The whole city is beautiful with so much history! We really loved the Rathaus square and the fountains and the Fuggerei annd the Dom. Our Hotel Ost am Ko was in the perfect location for exploring and was a real gem of a hotel! Highly recommend visiting Augsburg- has so much to see and experience. Momo’s in the Bahnhofstraße Strasse has the best Doner I have ever had!

The history available through the museums, historic...

The history available through the museums, historic buildings, and art galleries is extraordinary. The confectionary shops add a wonderful addition to a cup of coffee. Beers from 3X different breweries made this a good tasting experience.

Augsburg has got a lot of beautiful places within: we especially liked the old town, visited the Fugger social living estate, the Rathausplatz at the weekend for sitting out in the sunshine, a piano is located outside the cathedral where anyone can play... there are a lot of other things to see and do which we didn't

Augsburg is a very charming city with lots of points of interest and restaurants and caffee's. Don't miss the Rathausplatz, Fuggerei, Maximilianstrasse, Koenigplatz and old city walls. For good Bavarian/Schwaebische Food I recommend Restaurant unter dem Bogen on Annastrasse. People watching and relaxing Caffee Eber am Rathausplatx. Take one of the city tours, organized by the city and raasonably priced. Augsburgs Strassenbahn System makes it easy to get around, buy a "Streifenkarte". Walk around in the Altstadt and around the "Kahnfahrt" and the old city walls- it is just beautiful.

So many sights worth seeing.

So many sights worth seeing. Top is the Fuggerei, allow several hours to explore this ground breaking social housing from the 1500's. The Dom is also worth visiting as is taking the tram to the Red Tower and Water towers. Wander around the central area and enjoy a beer or coffee at one of the many coffee houses or beer taverns.
