Nice location, excellent sauna, friendly staff, good breakfast 👌

We enjoyed very much staying here. The hosts were very hospitable and friendly people. We ate well and drank good wines of the haus. We wish we could have stayed longer. The place was very clean and we had a nice view on the hills with the vinyards. We made very nice hikes in the vinyards and in the hills.

Perfect hospitality, Sebastian was so heplful, I arrived very late and there were clear instructions how to enter my room. Breakfast wonderfull and I loved their coffee. I had a very late flight and asked them if I can check out later. Sebastian allowed me to stay as much as I needed after checkout and that doesn't happen often anymore.

Everything! A fabulous location, very scenic surroundings. We received a lovely welcome by the owner. She was very informative about the local area, & her English was excellent. Exceptional evening meal - very reasonably priced & delicious. Fabulous large room, spotlessly clean with lots of great homely comforts.

They tried to keep it as authentic as possible. I did not feel like in a hotel that once was a castle. I felt like in a castle that now is a hotel.

Convenient location on the main street of Pünderich, so easy access to the river and hikes. Bed was hard, but in a comfortable way. Convenient water / beer / wine fridge you can access.

Perfect location to river & boat trips

Alf is quiet but the hotel is easy walking distance to the riverboats and restaurants. Comfortable room with balcony. Nice breakfast with a great choice that you could eat in the dining room or have it on the patio if you preferred. As motorcyclists we like secure parking and the hotel let us park our bike in the large bicycle room. There’s plenty of room in there so no issues. That said I would have been perfectly happy parking at the rear of the hotel on the designated hard standing. Reception staff very friendly, helpful and made us feel very welcome

We searched for something close to Cochem and although it`s an almost 30 mins drive, it`s 100% worth it. It`s a small city with a beautiful view. The hotel is located in front of a lake and has the view to mountains. We enjoyed having the chance to sit in the balcony, have a beer and appreciate the view. The person who check us in did not speak any english but she was super nice and we were able to communicate in some way. The room was good and clean. Breakfast had lots of options!

Very nice hotel and restaurant

Everything perfect about this lovely address...wonderful welcome from a young,motivated team so refreshing to see and a big thanks for that .Tasty evening meal overlooking the Moselle who could ask for more....oh yes a tasty breakfast in the same conditions wow .This time on our motorbike with sheltered parking, next time we'll be with our car to take advantage of the 'boat taxi' All in all a wonderful experience, not to be missed

Simple breakfast to start the day, with all energy you need to discover the Mosel area! View on the Mosel itself and very polite staff and management. I will return to Rolf and his family as soon as I need some rest and peace, away from the city.
