Beautiful panorama with mountain view, good breakfast, really nice owners

Clean rooms, parking space, sufficient breakfast, staff willing to help you. Beautiful view of the mountains from the balcony.

We got a family room with terrase (for two adults and three kids), overall it was an excellent stay, very calm relaxing environment, maybe because not during the peak season. Our stay was worth the money we paid, would come back and would definitely recommend to anyone going to these places.

The staff were all wonderfully friendly. The hotel is in a beautiful peaceful quiet location within easy distance of the town. My room was spotlessly clean with a balcony overlooking a wonderful mountain view. The breakfast was a large buffet with plenty of choice, regularly replenished with extremely good coffee.

The right place at the right moment, well priced

Everything was great, room was nice, spacious and extra clean. Beautiful view from our room. Great breakfast. Staff was very nice and helpfull, definitely recommend this place. Also there was no problem with dog (12e/night).

Hotel is at a great location right nearby Weisensee lake. The view of the lake and the mountains from our room was fantastic. I owe a special thank to the owners of the hotel to dear Maria and Michael for reserving this very nice room for us upon my special request. Very kind and helpful hosts. The room opens to a very nice terrace shared by 3 rooms. The warm atmosphere and the decoration of the room gives you a feeling that you are in a chalet. Breakfast was very good. Car park was free of charge.

Staff was super accommodating and helpful. I arrived late but they made it work, which was wonderful after a long drive. It was also very close to the autobahn and easy to find.

Perfect accommodation! A large and well-designed room, a large balcony with a sunbed, two chairs and a table, a view of snowy mountains, a room equipped with modern and high-quality equipment, a large television, wall cabinets and separate toilets and a bathroom. It was excellent! An excellent breakfast with a rich menu and a selection of endless options with maximum freshness! Professional and fun SPA and massage services. The bottom line: complete disconnection from everyday life, rest and pure pleasure! It's a shame that it ended quickly, we'll be back soon!!

Calm and peaceful place. We loved the room and town view from the window. Nice service, kind and understanding people! The restaurant is just awesome! Very nice beer and coffee ♥️ our kid loved kinder menu a lot.

The host was super flexible. I hade to stay until late afternoon to attend an online meeting and they provided me a nice, silent dining room. I highly appreciated their flexibility.

The location and the views of the hotel were amazing! Our room was connected with a terrace and had view on the natural swimming pool and the village. The bathroom was very spacious and had a really nice walk-in shower. Our hotel roomcards were also valid as a Köningskarte. The Köningskarte will give you free entrance or discount to a lot of activities like the mountain skilift. We will definitely come back again!

A lovely traditional independent guesthouse in a beautiful location, overlooking Hopefensee and with views into the mountains. The room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was fine, good choice as expected. There remote location does mean than transport is more difficult. We hired a car for the period of our stay, driving and returning to Munich. A lot of people seem to have bikes or hire bikes for getting around and there are plenty of suitable bike routes in the area.

The staff members were all lovely and a couple of them were exceptionally helpful, going out of their way to help us when travel and meal plans came unstuck. The food is tasty and the rooms very clean and comfortable. The sauna and rest area is an added bonus.

The building exterior and interior was astounding,well preserved one would say a hotel and a museum in one building. It was beautiful in winter, would be nice to see it in sommer too. The rooms have everything needed, they also have restaurated furniture, which added a nice touch. You actually feel you went back in time( in a positive way). There were enough parking spaces. The breakfast was simple yet elegant you had everything you needed to start the day. Would gladly visit again to check the whole building out.

We really wanted to visit the hotel. Familienhotel Löwen, since the surroundings of the mountains and everything geared towards families and children would be ideal for us. The experience has been wonderful, the hotel is very nice and cozy, very fun areas and lovingly cared for for the children. The beautiful exterior. Our little ones loved the farm. This was our first experience with Explorer Hotel, and we were presently surprised by the quality of the services offered. Great option for an active summer holiday stopover.
