Everything about this hotel was perfect. I made a last minute booking due to a cancelled flight and was cold and tired by the time I arrived. The staff were super-friendly. My luggage was lost and they went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed including a phone charger. The hotel and the room itself were both spotless. I booked the junior suite which was a good size with a large lounging area and a work space. Had a great night's sleep. The bed was comfy and the room was very quiet. The included breakfast was incredibly good, a large variety of foods and a really good quality. The jam in particular was really fruity and seemed handmade. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice location in the old town centre. The 2 units we rented felt spacious and both seemed to be recently renovated. There is not much on street parking, except for some unloading, but it was possible to park vehicles overnight at the nearby Ludwig Thoma Wiese parking lot which is about 600m away and it was free of charge.

Dachau was amazing and very easy to travel around by foot or uber. The restaurants in the area were diverse and quite good! We enjoyed local cuisine along with some of our favorites like Mexican and especially Sushi! The restaurant Geisha Dachau was especially memorable for sushi! Not only was the food amazing, but the plating was spectacular! La Bodega for Mexican food was quite enjoyable as well! The food and drinks were delicious, and the location was a little more off the beaten path and relaxing. If you are in a hurry, might not be your choice, but if you just want to have a relaxing evening in a restaurant full of ambiance...this is your place. You can't visit Dachau without touring the concentration camp. We saved this for the last day of our trip as we knew it would be a very emotional day. I highly recommend seeing the camp. We decided to tour it on our own so we could take our time because there is a lot to absorb. The museum there is filled with information that is worth taking the time to see and read. I had thought, going into the camp, that I had quite a bit of knowledge on the history of the war camps. In the museum, I found there was so much more to the history and so many stories to learn. Overall, I wish I had more time to stay in Dachau and see more of the area and city.

I went to the Dachau concentration camp museum. It is a must do visit for everyone. Free entrance and free parking. Dachau has a treinstation and some restaurants. Easy to reach Munich by public transport with many direct trains

We were in Munich for Oktoberfest.

We were in Munich for Oktoberfest. This was a nice facility but was about 45 minutes via bus and train to Munich. It took us a little bit to figure out the bus and train schedules, but once we did it was easy to get to and from Munich.

A beautiful small town.

A beautiful small town. Easy walking distance to the castle & it's gardens (beautiful & worth visiting) as well as the site of the concentration camp (sobering but definitely worth the visit) Also very scenic country walks. Just be aware many places are closed on a Monday!

Dachau is too small to stay in for the night or nights ... Tour of the prisoner camp was usefull ... Tour guides are distorting the facts making Germany alot worse .. it was a prisoner camp .... during wars ... facts no more or less. Touring children or students is not a good idea ... it is a horrible idea to be introduced to violance at that age ... ... The castle was a great spot ... the old town ... need better infrastructure ... Food was merely to meet the hunger ... busses are available ... routes are confusing in such a small place . One time visit is more than enough.

New hotel located at 2 kms from Dachau station/city centre. Quiet location, at the limit of the village and in a commercial zone. Privat, secured and very roomy underground parking at a fair price of about 10 euro a day. Plenty of free on street parking available. Easy to take public transport to Münich , bus stop at 150 m, train station at 2kms and in half an hour you can be in the Münich city centre. Very good Greek restaurant in the hotel. Nice and complete breakfast.
