Very friendly welcome from host. Super clean. Fantastic small hotel. Loved the free tea and coffee and honesty bar that could take on veranda/ balcony. Bett + Bike - safe bike storage. Delicious dinner and breakfast. Our favourite stay in our 6 weeks of holidaying in Germany over the past few years.

The apartment is very nice, spacious and we loved the view from the balcony. Michaela is a very nice host, we stayed for 5 days to do some nearby hiking. Lovely forrests nearby, you can start directly from the apartment. It is in the middle of the Scharzwald, so very rural and quiet. Might come back next year.

We stayed in Bermersbach, a village near Forbach. This is a less touristy part of the Black Forest and all the better for it. Endless wonderful walks and activities nearby and good enough facilities around.

Forbach is for serious walkers who appreciate a quiet village. Our hotel served dinner on some nights. There is a pub serving simple but good food and a more up-scale restaurant serving posher German food and Asian dishes.

This is a delightful small hotel in a quiet area of Forbach. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was varied and generous and can be taken on the terrace if desired. There is a pack lunch option for 7 euro which we took with us for the road and it was delicious. Free parking on site so a good choice if you are passing through the Black Forrest by car or bike.

I loved everything. The apartment was clean, well laid out and really comfortable. There was outside space, a well stocked kitchen, loads of local information and everything about my stay was easy. The hosts were great - really friendly and welcoming. There are hiking trails right on the doorstep and loads more in the local area, and Forbach is close for food shopping.

The tranquillity of the location and views are terrific. The hotel and accommodation is modern and spacious. Plenty of parking. Our special thanks to Mauricio who, despite an obvious staffing crisis, attempted to assist everyone, showing amazing customer service ability and a dedication to the hotel. (He even prepared our room which the cleaners hadn't).
