This is one of our regular and favourite places to stay. The environment, the silence, scents and birdsong from the outside calm us down. We sit on the balcony, sleep with the window open, enjoy the hikes around. The staff are lovely, we always leave with a smile on our faces. Rooms extremely clean. High quality breakfast, something nice for everyone (even vegan & gluten-free!).

We arrived late for only one night. It is a shame that we didn't see much of the surroundings. The location is nice, position beside the river and a beautiful wooden bridge, which is quite in your face if you sit on their outside terras or, like us, from the large balcony on the side of the hotel. It has a pretty contemporary and fresh looking interrior. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is excellent. It is located on the edge of a bigger village which look interesting. Parking is outside. The bathroom is good and has a decent roomy shower. Also good beds.

Quiet, fully equipped apartment in a small mountain village - perfect as a base for day trips in the Black Forest. Our hosts had left for us some candies, water, juice and sparkling wine. There was also coffee, plenty of spices, crockery and cutlery in the apartment for our use.The mattresses were superb.There is a parking space available for guests in front of the house entrance. The view from the veranda is incredible. I highly recommend staying in this apartment - we will do it again when we are in the region

We stayed in Bermersbach, a village near Forbach. This is a less touristy part of the Black Forest and all the better for it. Endless wonderful walks and activities nearby and good enough facilities around.

Forbach is for serious walkers who appreciate a quiet village. Our hotel served dinner on some nights. There is a pub serving simple but good food and a more up-scale restaurant serving posher German food and Asian dishes.

I loved everything. The apartment was clean, well laid out and really comfortable. There was outside space, a well stocked kitchen, loads of local information and everything about my stay was easy. The hosts were great - really friendly and welcoming. There are hiking trails right on the doorstep and loads more in the local area, and Forbach is close for food shopping.

The tranquillity of the location and views are terrific. The hotel and accommodation is modern and spacious. Plenty of parking. Our special thanks to Mauricio who, despite an obvious staffing crisis, attempted to assist everyone, showing amazing customer service ability and a dedication to the hotel. (He even prepared our room which the cleaners hadn't).

We stayed for one night during a bycicle touring trip. The hotel is bike friendly, we had everything we needed, the breakfast was very nice also. The hotel owners are really nice and made our experience very pleasant. We felt relaxed asking questions and getting advice. There is also a sauna with relaxation room which we had for ourselves.
