Höhler Tour, many sights.

Höhler Tour, many sights. Austrians at the market square, excellent food. Hellas Restaurant Greek, very good, large portions. Very nice little independent cinema. House wine recommended. Great cultural offerings. "Notendealer" at the theater, simply wonderful, sing-alongs, I laughed a lot and had a great time.

There's so much to discover in the city; you just need to do...

There's so much to discover in the city; you just need to do some research beforehand. The cave tour is a must! 👍 The Schulenburg Villa is very interesting, and the dahlia show is definitely worth seeing! The restaurant "Österreich am Markt" is also highly recommended. And you'll hardly find parking for €3 a day anywhere else! 😊👏

The cave biennial currently taking place is really great, as is the Otto Dix exhibition in the orangery, the architecture of many buildings and the former industrialists' villas - and a visit to the "Stützstrumpf" café!

The area around the pottery market is very lively.

The area around the pottery market is very lively. Excellent guided tours of the historic Gera cellars are available. The Untermhaus district is idyllic, with beautifully renovated, partly historic houses. The Otto Dix House is worth seeing. Gera is also great for hiking; you can quickly find yourself surrounded by nature. Many cyclists are out and about.

Gera might not seem so beautiful at first glance, but on closer inspection you'll find many interesting things, such as a visit to the Gera Caves. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes, and shops in the city center. The many small and large passageways are particularly useful, allowing you to significantly shorten your route.

The city has its beautiful spots, but it can be quite eerie at night, with people hanging around everywhere, which can sometimes feel unsettling. There are many traditional, creative restaurants, but the shopping experience is limited.
