Location was excellent, beautiful old building superbly modernised to a very high specification. Superb food, very friendly staff who attended to our every need. thoroughly recommend.

Really lovely breakfast on a balcony and the location of the hotel is ideal for us. The evening meal and a cold beer, sitting outside on the terrace, was perfect after a long journey. It is the staff though, that make this hotel a traveller’s haven… nothing is too much trouble. We have already booked our 2026 visits and are looking forward to them.

A perfectly fine motel along the highway for a quick sleep over en type route to your destination. We stayed in family room 615. Clean, quiet, balcony with a nice view and sound of singing birds. Food and drinks are available in the Servways building with direct covered connection. For the price of 130 euro, it was just what we expected.

The stuff was very helpful and friendly, arrival and deperture were super smooth, the rooms were nice, clean and comfy and the included breakfast was delightful. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and Schlemmer was a perfect stay in Montabaur.

An absolutely unique destination for a road trip! It is a genuine German village tucked away from the main road — a place of absolute peace and nature. The host and his wife are truly amazing; they look after every guest personally! There is even a pond with huge, tame fish that beg for treats the moment you approach the water's edge! We’ve decided we will definitely come back!
