Ottilienruh was simply magical! It felt like stepping into a whimsical world straight out of a fairytale. The attention to detail in every corner of the villa was simply breathtaking. I would love to meet the architect and interior designer to design my house. If I had my way, I would make this my permanent residence - it's that incredible! The villa is located in a quiet area but not far from the city center of Ilsenburg. The city itself is very charming. When you step outside the property, you can find some nice restaurants and directly at the entrance of the hiking trails. In conclusion, very strategic :) I love everything about Ottilienruh :)

You are given a unit to yourself, which is basically a double story house. There is a TV and kitchen and 2 bathrooms. The shower and bathtub were both quite fancy with various settings and great water pressure. The windows all had the automatic outside blinds which assisted in keeping the room dark and at a good temperature. It was also close to city centre, which was great as we walked everywhere.

Excellent stay. Located in the old city in the heart of Wernigerode. Beautiful place and building. Rooms are cozy and spacious, nicely designed. Very well renovated. Breakfast was very good with lots of things to choose from, freshly prepared eggs. We would recommend and come back for sure.

Hotel was nice, the room pretty small. Had a room with two beds but there was not room enough to make space between them, so they were just one big bed. The check-in took forever compared to every hotel I have tried, as they needed a lot of information to rent out a parking spot. Plus city tax was added to the hotel fee and had to be paid in cash. The restaurant had the fastest service on the other hand almost ninja fast 🥷 Breakfast was everything I could imagine, there was even wine chilling next to the milk!
