I arrived late, and reception sent me a mail with all the info so I could easily find the night entrance and my key. The room was spacious and because I have astma, the staff took care to give me a room without carpets. Breakfast is a well laid out buffet with plenty of choices of bread, charcuterie, cheese, fruit, eggs, bacon and sausages, freshly squeezed orange juice etc. Even the capucino I took a bit later, enjoying the sun on the terrace, was included in it.

A 10-minute walk from Verden Train Station, this hotel lies directly on the Weser Cycling Route. It offers free Wi-Fi, free parking, breakfast buffets and rental bicycles.

Hof Lohmann was a very quiet and the host were friendly, and helpful when we had a request. The kitchen was well equipped, and the apartment was comfortable. The historic town of Verden was definately worth the visit.
