PolandA wonderful place with wonderful people. The guest service is top-notch; I wish I could feel that way everywhere. We felt right at home here. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, combining modernity with classic style. The breakfast was delicious. The hosts even gave us some delicious treats for the journey. This was just a stop on our way home, but we already know where we'll be staying when we go on our next holiday :))))

There are great shops around the hotel, and I loved Aktuell...
There are great shops around the hotel, and I loved Aktuell which has everything. They are not obvious. The 2 cafes under the hotel are good, lovely breakfast rolls in the bakery or scrambled eggs in the Caravelle which does brilliant light lunches too - the tomato crostini is huge - you'll be surprised. Kerber Eck opposite the Burger Haus is nice for a drink. For great Schnitzel go to Ratsschenke in Kloppenheim nearby. Lovely walk by the river, but they have made a mess of it, trying to be back to nature!
