We had a fantastic stay in Lich! We arrived after a stressful flight and felt immediately at home. We had everything we needed, the house is very close to the Oberstadt and shops, the beds were super comfy and the host was extremely helpful! We all loved the Christmas decorations, such a nice touch, and are planning on coming back again.

The staff was very accommodating and friendly, they were able to adjust the rooms for us at the last minute when our plans changed and a few children tagged along with us. The communication was very open and precise. The rooms and beds are clean and comfy, the breakfast was great. We weren’t able to enjoy the beer garden due to other evening plans but it looks pretty sweet as well. Will definitely come back when we are in the region again, the surroundings are beautiful.

It is a beautiful location and a gorgeous B&B - the room was so comfortable, and a lovely space with room for a sofa and a chair as well as the bed so there was somewhere to sit! Bathroom was also spacious and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Everything was spotless. The owner was very friendly and helpful, explained everything and showed me around including the kitchen, which was also lovely!

Lich is a typical small German town, very old world with...

Lich is a typical small German town, very old world with tudor framed buildings and cobbled streets. There are a few good restaurants and bars in the town with a few cafes and you can expect to pay around UK prices in most of them. On this visit there were plenty of buses and Lich also has its own train station with a fairly regular service. If you have a car, Giessen, which is a much larger town is about 15 minutes away, and Frankfurt is around a forty minute drive. Those two can also be reached by train. Around Lich, cycling is very good because it has an extensive cycle track network around it which is very safe. The other reason cycling is very enjoyable is that this region of Germany rarely has any wind to speak off; the worst we had was one day where the gusts reached 10mph, but those weren't noticeable!

A small, modernised, reasonably priced hotel, run by a friendly Turkish family. I had a small comfortable room, on a 1 track rail line, silent after about 10 at night, and a road running into Lich with good free parking. Shaving and tooth brushing tools were in the room. A small buffet breakfast is available. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable.

Everything was nice and tidy. The staff was friendly and accommodating. When we asked for different pillows, they were providing us with different ones. The hotel room had some nice features, such as: a fridge with free water, one time use shavers, toothbrush, paste. Lotion and shampoo.
