This is not the first time we are staying at the motel and, as always, everything was perfect. Great service, picturesque surroundings, comfortable facilities.

Nice hotel with what you need you need for a comfortable stay. The room was clean and spacious. The staff were pleasant and helpful . There is restaurant attached which served great food and wine. A large supermarket is very close by and a lovely location right by the river.

Extremely comfortable beds - it is rare for me to fall asleep in a hotel during just one overnight stay. Nicely rich, good weighted duvet and high-quality mattresses meant we fell asleep quickly and had a refreshing rest. No wonder this pace is a hit with bicycle riders, the plaque said, a winner of "Bike and Bett" awards.We were chaperoned to our rooms, which were ultra clean, fresh and pleasant. I am so glad I chose this place. Breakfast was exactly what you needed: nice variety and topped up timely by a caring staff. No doubt I would return. Best regards Slav Litwin

Fantastic Staff at the resort, location was Great. Food was spot on. Would definitely stay again on my next trip to Germany. Bus stop directly outside that goes to Trier. This is a must if you stay here. Trier is full of Roman History and the State Museum was fantastic. Beethovans house is 15 minute walk away from Euro Strand Resort.

My stay at Hotel zum Anker in Detzem was truly delightful, thanks to its prime location right by the Mosel River, offering stunning views from a spacious balcony. The room itself was generously sized, adding to the overall comfort of our stay. The breakfast selection was sufficient, and the owner went above and beyond to accommodate our vegan requests, which was greatly appreciated. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the pet-friendly policy made it a welcoming spot for all guests. The nearby lock was a fascinating attraction, especially watching the ships pass through, and the location is perfect for exploring the charming village and surrounding areas. While the bed mattresses were not the most comfortable, this minor drawback did little to detract from an otherwise perfect stay. I would highly recommend Hotel zum Anker for a relaxing riverside getaway.

Everything was better than expected.

Rooms were clean. Breakfas was simple but nice. Vegan options.
