Family owned boutique hotel in the old town of Rothenburg. The service by the owner Otto is legendary and very accommodating. The house is packed with history similar to the whole town. The hotel has onsite parking, however it can be a bit tricky to find the location as google maps and waze struggle to pinpoint the exact location of the hotel. If you are arriving late, make sure to call ahead as the reception closes at 10pm.

The chalet was absolutely wonderful! It was spotless, beautifully decorated, welcoming, and incredibly cozy and comfortable. My children were so thrilled with the place that they didn’t even want to leave the house! I truly hope to return and stay there again – it was an unforgettable experience!

Most people, I suspect, come here to visit Rothenburg, which...

Most people, I suspect, come here to visit Rothenburg, which makes sense as it's very close by. The actual village of Neusitz is picturesque and is ideal for cycling. There's not much else in the village - we were warned off from eating at the local pub/pension, something that I saw reflected in reviews of the place on various websites, but I suspect it's fine for a beer (when it's open, that is).

Very welcoming, helpful, and laid back hosts. I loved the relaxing, short walk from Neusitz (a paved trail) into town (Rothenburg on der Tauber) before facing the crowds and bustle.
