We had a truly wonderful stay. The hotel is beautifully nestled in nature, just a short walk along the river to Saarburg. The peaceful surroundings made for an incredibly relaxing experience, and the drive to Trier was quick and convenient. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options. We also dined at the hotel restaurant one evening and were very pleased with our meal. Overall, we highly recommend staying at Klostermühle – it’s a perfect retreat for anyone looking to unwind in a serene and welcoming environment.

Family run hotel. Terrific location, right in the middle of town. Tourist office, bank, and numerous restaurants within 100 meters. Good variety of programming on the TV. They let me leave my bags there until check in. Great breakfast buffet, with lots of variety. Very helpful staff. They even volunteered to transport me and my luggage to the train station, 1.2 km away without charge.

Our stay at this lovely place felt like stepping into a little fairytale in the middle of the countryside. The room was spotless and beautifully prepared, and we were pampered with a bedtime herbal tea, a date, and a thoughtful selection of other drinks — such a sweet touch! There’s also a wonderful shared kitchen, very clean and welcoming, where we enjoyed meeting other friendly guests. The bathroom was immaculate, with a refreshing shower and a wonderfully fragrant hand soap (I think it was lemongrass!). Our host, Laurette, was absolutely delightful — warm, attentive, and easy to communicate with. She was very understanding as we kept her updated during our drive. Our dogs were also warmly welcomed, which made the stay even more special for us. All in all, it was a truly charming and peaceful stay — one we’ll remember fondly and hopefully repeat on our next trip!
