Potsdam holds a pivotal place in German history. The country’s largest UNESCO World Heritage Site – Park Sanssouci – stands testament to the wealth of the kings and kaisers who once held court there. Nearby, Filmpark Babelsberg is the world’s oldest film studio and Babelsberg Palace was a royal summer retreat.
