A lovely, well cared for guest house in a great location. I arrived very late but had full instructions for access and everything went fine. The owner was very courteous and friendly. Overall it was delightful if very short stay.

The Badewelt area was excellent – especially the heated outdoor pool, which was amazing even in cold weather. The indoor pool is spacious and the sauna area is very relaxing. Direct access from the rooms to the spa via elevator is very convenient. The half board option was also great and made our stay very comfortable. Overall, a fantastic short getaway.

This hotel is situated on the harbour walk (Vorderstrasse) in Travemünde. There are plenty of shops and restraurants within walking distance. We were greeted by a friendly receptionist who spent time explaining everything about the hotel and the surroundings. Please note that there is no parking adjacent to the hotel, but they offer an off-site parking about five minutes walk away. This is due to the location on the Vorderreihe and nothing that detracts from the overall experience of the stay. The room had excellent beds and a very well equipped bathroom. This stay occurred in December and Travemünde was quiet. The breakfast was excellent with a large variety of food including scrambled eggs, sausages and bacon. Again we were greeted by friendly personnel. We will return. Highly recommended!

The actions you can do in the closer near are quite limited.

The actions you can do in the closer near are quite limited. Shops are mostly expensive. Although a lot dogs are around, the area is not good for dog owners: the beach is full of sharp broken shells and the close walkways through the forest are as well covered with split. Dogs easily cut open their paws! On the alley next to the shops is not even one flower growing, so if the dog lifts up his leg once it straight looks worse. The shops and restaurants are either empty or already closed at 17:00. The view with the Passat, other side of Travemünde and the sunsets are beautiful, but not worth a longer stay. Better for a day excursion. Restaurant bar Ahoi is very tasty!
