We have tried several hotels/hostels/b&b:s during our trips through Europe from Spain to Sweden and vice versa - and we found this place to be a true gem! A warm welcome, yet totally undisturbed throughout our stay. A perfect "shared home" (with own entrance and facilities) with plenty of space to relax, make breakfast/lunch/dinner and enjoy the scenery. Fully equipped kitchen, clean bathroom with all necessities (shampoo of different kinds, toothbrushes in case you forgot to bring one, lady pads etc), comfortable beds and roller shades on all windows. There are shops nearby and the house is close to the highway. The hosts are a lovely couple with a cute and friendly dog who reserves to get high rates for their efforts! Top notch accommodation!

Landhaus Sonnenschein is located in Blankenheim, just 16 miles from Hohe Acht mountain and 18 miles from Ernstberg Mountain.

What is not to like? Very clean, great communication and a fantastic price. Very quiet small village with great hiking in the surrounding area. Quite comfortable beds,. Washer and dryer and a wood fired grill available. One of my best bookings ever on Booking.com
