We had a very comfortable stay: the place is very cozy, the restaurant is good and it is dog friendly - all we were looking for.

Property locations is awesome. The manager/owner Mr. Sharif is fantastic! Had great attitude, very welcoming, and went out of the way to visit the property at 9:00 pm just to let me in after I locked myself out of the room! Forever grateful for this gesture. The breakfast was well thought out, well laid, and right on time for us. The rooms are large and well appointed. The bathroom was HUGE!

The owners are super friendly and helpful. They always seem to have time for a quick chat and to give you some tips (even if your German is not that great). The hotel is located near the Feldberg, the Titisee and to many great hiking trails. The rooms are spacious and I even got an upgrade to one with a balcony. The breakfast is tasty and has everything you need. Highly recommended staying here!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The mountain views were absolutely breathtaking, and the fresh air was so pure it made us feel light-headed — in the best way! It’s incredibly beautiful here — peaceful, clean, and cozy. Breakfast was delicious, and the hosts were cheerful, friendly, and welcoming. We truly enjoyed every moment and already dream of coming back in winter for a ski holiday! Highly recommended! ⛰️❄️❤️

A very quiet hotel, full of charm, right in the centre of Todtnau, with easy bus links to lovely hikes that are well marked. Very clean and comfortable, with a lovely breakfast each morning. The staff are helpful and very responsive. Tourist office is very helpful. Todtnau is a very charming town with lots of dining options, but definitely check out the Bella Italia restaurant in this hotel.

We stayed here for four days at the end of January 2026. This hotel has new owners. It's definitely improved. Everything is very well taken care of. The staff is very friendly, and the food was delicious. We definitely recommend this hotel. We'll definitely be back.

Very good service and comfortabel stay

The breakfast was perfect, with variaty of foods and beveradges. The room was perfect, clean and with beautiful view, also the temperature was perfect.

Very nice hotel, friendly staff, attention to details, tasty breakfast, nice spa area, easy and convenient parking and super location. You get everything you need for your vacation. We will definitely come back!

It is impossible not to like this place. The host called us to make sure we manage to let ourselves in (we arrived late). A fridge with drinks was at our disposal, as well as toiletries in the bathroom. The balcony was amazing, so large, perfect view on the mountains, the breakfast was extremely good and generous - truly a dream! And so clean! A real gem, for a very fair price, too.

We enjoyed seeing the rural part of Germany appose to the cities. We arrived by taxi and did not have our own car, so if you have to make use of public transportation (bus) make sure you are fit as the bus stops is about 1km away. Our family room with the kitchenette was great as we like to make our own breakfast. The town of Todnau nearby was a great visit with our teenagers.

We stayed at the new apartments which were really comfortable next to a small river with a spectacular view of the Black Forest. Parking at the premises & very good breakfast. We were even given free cards for the local trains. Don't miss the chance to have dinner at the hotel's restaurant.

A really lovely and welcoming couple. We truly enjoyed our stay. They were very kind and even allowed us a late check-out, which we really appreciated. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. Overall, a great experience!

Very charming mountain hotel with an authentic vibe. Owners were super kind and helpful. We were about to visit Colmar and surroundings in France and this hotel offered a very good value for money compared with what was offered on the market. We have had an overnight stay on our way but will definitely plan to visit again.
