The guesthouse is located in an inner courtyard opposite a restaurant with outdoor seating. We were initially concerned about the garden area, but fortunately the restaurant was closed. Thanks to that, the surroundings were very quiet, which positively affected our overall satisfaction, especially considering the central location of the guesthouse in the city center. Our room was very small (the smallest type available), but it was perfectly adequate for one night. Cleanliness was excellent, the furnishings were very simple, but sufficient. Thanks to the firm mattresses, we slept very well. There was a locked bike storage area in the courtyard. Check-in and breakfast took place at the neighboring Adler Hof hotel; the breakfast was excellent. Overall, during this year’s trip along the Elberadweg, we consider this stay to have offered the best value for money.

The family-run Schwarzer Adler is located in the Medieval town of Tangermünde, just an 8-minute walk from the train station. It offers well-equipped rooms and a daily breakfast buffet.

A very pleasant stay in a charming hotel in the heart of beautiful Tangermünde. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful, and breakfast was very good. We especially appreciated the convenient private parking and the excellent location, perfect for exploring the old town on foot. The late check-in was also very well organised and easy. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it.
