Excellent in every aspect. We were only staying for 1 night on the way to the Black Forest but would be very happy to stay again. Easy check in, good parking, very helpful staff, lovely room which was quiet even though it overlooked the main street (which wasn't very busy anyway). Lovely meal in the open rooftop restaurant and good breakfast. Really nice location suitable for exploring the Eifel area.

Fabulous hotel, lovely couple who run it. Right in the National Park, beautiful. Clean rooms, small enough to be personal and just big enough to have everything you need.

Room was really nice and modern, bed was comfortable, amazing view through the window. And tasty, simply breakfast. And really delicious dinners.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Horchem. We arrived at this cozy, welcoming oasis in the middle of a sudden and fierce cold front in November, and from the moment we checked in, we felt warm and happy. The staff were friendly and cheerful, our room was warm, clean and inviting, and the restaurant served honest, nourishing meals. We recommend it as the ideal place to enhance your stay in the charming, fairy tale village that is Monschau.

The friendly owner and the excellent food

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a room with a beautiful view. The breakfast buffet was great and we sat outside to eat. There was a nice, homely feel. 😊 The great location meant it was only a 15 min drive to Rurberg for a hike and a 20 min drive to the pretty town of Monschau.

This is a gem of a place- an old-school guesthouse with plenty of character and charm. All staff were very friendly and helpful to every request I had. Facilities include bar with beergarden, pool and sauna and restaurant. Little touches made this place feel very homely even though I was only here for the one night. I was particularly impressed by the schnapps table and spirits trolley in the restaurant 😀

This was a lovely hotel with very friendly, helpful staff. Our room was really big which helped in the heat wave we were experiencing. We had 2 evening meals which were delicious. There was a very good choice for breakfast. There was not much in the town but were were motorcycling around the Eifel Mountains but still managed a walk down to the local lake.

Very good location in the heart of Monschau. The owner did provide all the necessary info about check in -check out ,breakfast,wifi e.t.c .. days ahead and called to find out if we checked in without any problem which was very sweet. Our room was very spacious and clean. The fridge in the room is such a good idea. Comfortabel bed and very good breakfast. Definately got more than what we paid for.

Super friendly owners, very central in Monschau and close to the restaurants and nice hikes. The breakfast was simple but delicious and plenty to fuel a day of hiking. The rooms were very clean, cozy and comfortable. It could be a bit on the warmer side, but the fan is just perfect to cool down your sleep. We’ll definitely be stating here again!

Everything was perfect . The restaurant, make sure you book . It’s so good and a great ambiance. Bathroom however small has the best shower pressure.
