ItalyExceeded my expectations. Went there for one night and paid for a single room, but got given a double room. The owners are super friendly, so is the staff. Room was clean, quiet, comfortable bed. Breakfast for under 10 Euros and has everything you need. Highly recommend - good price for value.

The city is easy to explore on foot, and nearby spots like the Haribo outlet and local swimming pools make it perfect for families and travelers alike. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment near the center of Solingen-Ohligs. It is well equipped with everything you'd need. Angelika was very friendly and accommodating as our host. We picked this spot as it was near the Bierboerse we wanted to attend, so we could walk there. There is a bakery around the corner and a supermarket at walking distance as well. Parking is free in the street itself. If you are interested in history, visit the Industriemuseum where it is shown how knives and scissors were produced in Solingen.

I was really impressed with the breakfast at Hotel the niu Solingen. The buffet was fresh, well organised, and had a great variety of options both hot and cold. From fresh bread and pastries to fruit, eggs, and good coffee, everything was delicious and regularly restocked. The dining area was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and attentive. It was the perfect start to the day

The staff were friendly and helpful. Location was great for us as we were there for a business trip. The hotel has a parking nearby at a convenient distance. The breakfast was good and tasty. The hotel even had a decent small gym. The room had everything I needed. The village itself is very beautiful and peaceful with plenty of restaurants to choose from.
