Tönning is a small town with some interesting spots for a...

Tönning is a small town with some interesting spots for a short trip, even in the fall/winter season. We visited the 'Multimar Wattforum', a very interesting and informative exhibition about the 'Wattenmeer', that can be visited at all weather conditions. We visited the beach of St. Peter Ording and spent some time in Husum. Both locations are easily reachable by train (hourly commuter train). We will come back in summer to enjoy the swimming pool, the North Sea beaches and potentially the Danish neighborhood.

A lovely "boutique" style hotel directly at the sedate historic harbour of Tönning. The heating worked extremely well and the room was nice and cosy, all very clean. A separate parking space is behind the hotel. A kettle to make a hot tea is provided. Snacks and drinks can be purchased out of reception hours. I loved the sumptious breakfast, everything possible was provided and the Service was excellent. I return to this hotel whenever I can and am delighted that the standards are always great!!

The setup of the appartement was excellent. The open arrangement of kitchen, living room and beds on the gallery was really nice. All facilities were fully functional. This location made it into the list of our preferred ones in the area of Tönning.
